Funeral policy claim.
Hello Peter I desperately need your help as I’ve tried my utmost best to be lenient towards a matter that required rapid assistance with this company .
I took out a policy with this company through work (Concentrix) one of the members I have covered unfortunately passed away last month (the member is my brother my mothers first born ) an unnatural death ,I addressed it they requested documentation I then sent out everything they requested,but it now seems they’re looking for every way possible to avoid paying out this is after I have told them I’ve already buried my brother things took a turn , went on to explain how ridiculously I am in debt because of the funeral expenses as I had no other policy besides it , until today’s date they keep telling me o need to provide them with a pathology report advised that the detective handling this case told me that they called and she explained what a possible lengthy process could take so they should process the claim .. please help me it’s now the end of the month I’m due to pay up all the monies I’ve borrowed during that time but I’m stuck because of them .

31 Jul 2025, 07:23Good day. The deceased was a victim of homicide. The Insurer reserves the right to request any additional documentation necessary to assess the full circumstances surrounding the case. Until all required information has been received and reviewed, the claim will remain pending.

31 Jul 2025, 07:51You guys are requesting a pathology report that could take up to a year just for the detective to get the hassle I’m being forced to go through is so unfair.i explained what I told by the detective shortly after I was advised to go get the pathology report also when your company called in to the detective she confirms to have explained they lengthy process a pathology report could take . Also why wasn’t this requested along with all the other documents which I fully submitted initially. I’m drowning in debt due to the monies iv borrowed for funeral expenses so what do I tell people if this is what I’m getting from the only policy I had ?
