I went to Island Hotel to buy supper from the takeaway area. The waitress swiped my card 4 times and insisted that the card had been declined all 4 times. However, the money in fact left my account at every swipe. Upon emailing the restaurant a few days later, they accepted fault but took 3 weeks to refund me the incorrect amount of money. So 4 weeks later I still have not been refunded my dues and am getting no response from the hotel regarding the outstanding monies. I am absolutely disgusted by the customer service I received. The Hotel consists of a bunch of thieves and very unprofessional individuals.
