I have also been scammed by ISMEGA, now trading as Market Masters Direct. I bought into the idea of using ISMEGA trading platform because it looked like an good business opportunity to trade the stock market. The problem comes in when a good business opportunity is run by fraudsters that is only interested in scamming people instead of building a solid business. I traded the 6 months simulation period and followed the rules to the last tee. After 6 months and 15 trades, as expected to do, the growth on my simulation shares only amounted to 1.1%. According to the contract, anything less than a guaranteed growth of 25% will lead to my R25000.00 being paid back. I have send my entire profile to ISMEGA for scrutinizing and analysis. When I heard nothing from them I started to follow up and every time there was another excuse. Eventually no calls came back and no response on emails was received anymore. Still I followed up and eventually after about 6 months I was notified that I will not receive my money back and no reason was given either. When I requested a meeting with the analyst who turned down my portfolio for refund, I was told that he does not work there anymore. Another time I was told that he travels allot and could not commit to a meeting. Totally BOGUS! Now I am trying to stop the debit order and doing this is even harder. Numerous attempts and direct email instructions to stop the debit order has been send but no response except that the debit order of 275.00 goes off every month like clock work. ISMEGA now trading as Market Masters Direct is currently taking my money on a monthly basis without my authorization...what do you call that? Please people, do not get caught by this scam. They only make huge promises because all they want is your money and have NO intention of honoring their promises.

Corne du Preez the owner refused up untill now to pay me my money for the last month of work. What can I do. The whole company is full of fraudulent activities.

Many have shared their experiences of BetaTrader. Almost all of them horrible. They phone you and offer you a R5000 trading account, and you have to pay them thousands, and take out a debit order. I can see the potential of the system, and even said I will try it. But now I am trying to get the R5000 trading account. And they are just stalling, emailed, phoned them - but what they said they will do they are not doing. It has been 3 months and I am still waiting for my R5000 trading account! I thought I would give the company the benefit of the doubt, but it seems everyone else was right.

A salesperson named Eckard convinced me to subscribe to Ismega. They promised to give me training and assistance. The package fee was R20,000 plus the monthly R275. I've tried to contact them via phone and email a thousand times. no luck. I agree with the other users that this is a scam. I am going to the media with them. If anyone have any way of contact them please assist.

I signed up for Betatrader in October. While trading, I started seeing a debit payment of R275 go off on my account. I checked my contract and saw that this was valid, although the salesman (Marcel) never mentioned this. Later that month, the debit order went off twice. It has continued to go off for three times a month (occasionally four times) until this day. Since the 12 January 2018, I have attempted to cancel the subscription (debit order). I called there offices and was told everytime to send an email to either ********** or ********** Not once have I received a response. The debit orders continue to go off. Based on the other reviews on this site, I now understand that this is a scam. I will continue my efforts to stop these debit orders and get my money back. What I do require is: 1. Confirmation, accompanied by verifiable evidence, that my contract has been cancelled. 2. Confirmation, accompanied by verifiable evidence, that the monthly R275.00 debit order has been cancelled, and any debits to date have been refunded to me. 3. A verifiable physical address so that I may return the tablet.
