The istore delivery service is the pits Clearly the definition of same day delivery is foreign to them because why would I wait from 11am for my parcel and only for the courier to call at 18h00 and say she has decided to deliver in the morning instead.WHAT THE HECK!!!

Hi, My husband and I decided to go to iStore at Menlyn Mall (New Phone Contract Side) to get a phone contract for him as he needs this for work. The process and time this took was appalling! We arrive at the store a couple of months earlier to get the process started but abandoned it then returned months later (today- at the time I wrote this -6 April 2024) where we were told we need to restart the process of submitting documents again because they needed updated documents no older than 3 months, which we understood. However we arrived at the store at 13:30 had to leave because the system had issues in setting up the Debi-check for us to approve the debit order - where we were told we would be called back to the store once that went through and was approved (this was at 15:30 when we left). We then returned at 17:00 to only leave the store close to closing times a little after 20:00. This is utterly ridiculous and does not live up to providing a seamless shopping experience taking into consideration that we were first time buyers. The only thing that helped (and prevented us from cancelling the whole process because the sales representative that was originally suppose to help us had suddenly decided to disappear and not even come to us to explain she had other things to do) was a treasure of an employee you have in Phemelo. She saw we had been waiting for our sales representative for a while and decided to fami****ise herself with where we were left hanging in the process and help us even though she was suppose to knock off earlier! She never once complained and she was extremely friendly and helpful. She even took the time to provide answers to our questions and explain the free icare for possible screen damage. Now unfortunately because the process was the process which is very horrific and system slow - Phemelo with a smile sat with us through it all and tried to speed it up the process for us but it still took 8 hours of our day ( at no fault to her) - we chose not to complain at the time because she had so graciously gone above and beyond - she really deserves a raise and better systems at work. We are really disappointed and stunned that this is the service we received at an iStore known to be a leading enterprise - please improve this and change!
