Live with them at own risk. (Horrible)
This shady company is now threatening to ruin my credit record over money that I don’t owe them. Please note you are not getting a cent from me.
I will be taking this issue to the rental housing tribunal, Ithemba needs to stop their shady dealings.

Please note that the amount reflected on your credit profile will only be cleared, and the account closed, once the final statement balance has been settled in full.
Kindly be advised Ithemba Property is a registered member of the South African Credit Risk Reporting Association (SACRRA). As members, we are legally obligated to report the payment behavior of all active rental accounts on a monthly basis to approved credit bureaus.
This process is fully compliant with national credit reporting laws and is approved by SACRRA. Reporting is not optional, it is a regulatory requirement designed to ensure accurate and transparent credit records for both consumers and businesses.
In addition, your lease agreement includes a clause authorising Ithemba Property to share your payment and account information with credit bureaus for the purpose of credit risk reporting.We therefore encourage you to settle the balance in full to ensure your credit profile remains in good standing.
Should you remain dissatisfied or believe that the conduct is unfair, you are entitled to seek independent legal advice or pursue any legal remedies available to you.
Our intention remains to resolve this matter amicably and transparently, and we remain open to continued engagement should you wish to discuss it further.
