Jack Fridays Garsfontein Bad Service

We went for lunch today and I ordered schnitzel and my son the Pulled Pork sandwich.

First problem, there were only 6 people/patrons in the establishment but our meal took almost 50 minutes to arrive. 50 minutes!

Service is soooo slow, and yet the waiters have a don't care attitude and are slouching around rather than cleaning the tables and cleaning the place and the dirty menus.

Eventually our food arrived after asking twice how long it will take, and though average meal it was well prepared, I only had half my meal, and asked for my takeaway, and also placed orders to take home (unfortunately, at this stage, I already placed the order when we placed the order for our food which I could not cancel at this late stage).

We finished our meal, and I asked the waitress if all the meals I ordered and paid for, including my half eaten meal was placed in our takeaways, and she confirmed it was.

We arrived home and only half the food that should have been in the bag was in there and they conveniently did not include the half of my takeaway meal.

I immediately called the number on the receipt/invoice but sadly that number was an incorrect number - incorrect number 012 941-0155, Google shows 012 941-0156 which is closer, because this number at least only rings...

In my view, I think the Management of this establishment need to jack up on service and make sure that waiters take their role serious. They have to be more observant and less chatting to one another, what a pity.

I ended up even paying a tip for half my meal, what a ****** robbery.

Based on my terrible experience and all other bad reviews I read, why did the city council health inspectors not yet follow through and send the inspectors to this establishment.

A one star is way too much, I think this is probably a very good binge drinking spot, and they should stick to that, but for heaven’s sake, stay away from food, you stink at that.

Funny thing, I posted my review on Google Reviews on Monday the 7th September but it does not appear on the reviews, why I don’t know, but I think management is curating the reviews and only allow the good ones to be posted…..

My verdict - stay away from this place.
