ONLY RIGGING COMPANY TO USE
Jacobs Transport and Rigging Services is unquestionably among the best in the industry for rigging and machinery relocation. I recently had the pleasure of working with them on a complete factory relocation, which involved moving heavy-duty machinery to a new factory. Their team demonstrated the highest level of professionalism, punctuality, and skill, meticulously managing every aspect of the project. From the initial contact, Kobus and the administration team provided outstanding support, efficiently handling paperwork, scheduling, and logistics. Kobus, their Operations Manager, expertly oversaw the entire process, ensuring seamless coordination and execution. The quality of service from their rigging team was nothing short of phenomenal. Piet, their Red Seal Rigger, and Prince, a highly proficient fork-lift rigger and driver, exhibited exceptional expertise. I am especially impressed by Piet’s ability to manoeuvre a very large burner through a space smaller than the machine’s dimensions and in the dark — an extraordinary feat that highlights their skill and experience. Their drivers were also top-notch, friendly, helpful, and dedicated to safety. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations, thanks to Jacobs Transport and Rigging Services’ dedication, expertise, and commitment to excellence. I wholeheartedly recommend them for any complex or difficult moves—this team should be booked for any challenging project. Thank you all for making our transition so much easier.

Would give a zero star rating if it was possible. Poor management, Bad service, No support, Incompetence, ****s. Claiming to be a Christian company. They work hand in hand with INNOVATION STAFFING SOLUTIONS and together they will hire and fire with 99% of dismissals being unfair, unfounded and *****ulently put together they use any and all loop holes bargaining on staff not being able to afford court cases or legal representation and then simply not showing up at the CCMA.

Think twice before you work here.
Unfortunately being subcontracted by another company ISS to Jacobs you are told everyday that you your manager will fire everyone. They expect you to be in 3 places at once. The admin staff that work at Jacobs can do, say and blame you and be protected. Having hearings without any warnings to constitute to a hearing. False allegations with ZERO proof of accusations. Working late EVERY day as well as every second Saturday with ZERO overtime. Female staff getting preferential treatment. Being told a daily basis how useless, ***********, incapable you are.

Phenomenal Service!!!!
Our company recently bought underground mining machines on auction. We contacted Jacobs Transport and arranged paperwork, collection and delivery within 2 days (Travel Distance +-390 km, one way, with terrible road infrastructure) Wow! What an amazing experience we’ve had with the Jacobs Team! Phenomenal service from Administration, Ops manager and drivers! Staff is friendly and very helpful! Thank you so much for making our lives easier!

Jacobs transport fails.
<p>I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a company called JACOBS TRANSPORT. </p> <p>The administration of my job was done so poorly that it cost me time and money. </p> <p>Jacobs transport also requires advance payments so there is nothing one can do after you have received poor and grossly negligent service because you have already paid. Their response was simply and i paraphrase here; its unfortunate but it happens. </p> <p> Well in the service industry it is of my opinion that to succeed one has to maintain a certain level of integrity and honour. Both of which i have found lacking in Jacobs transport. </p> <p> </p> <p>I quote directly from jacobs transport. </p> <p> </p> <p>"MISSION STATEMENT:</p> <p> </p> <p>To be the most cost effective, reliable and ethical group providing our clients with the most efficient service possible. Our biggest assets is our professional staff and state of the art equipment. We value our clients, suppliers and service providers and honour to keep our promises and relationships on professional basis at all times. "</p> <p> </p> <p>You and your company have clearly failed.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is simply my opinion based on my experience and my advice to anyone looking for logistical services, dont choose a company that lacks integrity and honour because you will most likely end up in the predicament i found myself in.</p>
