I purchased a Jaguar XF 2.2 Luxury in 2013 for my wife. The vehicle has done 82000 kilometers. Yesterday the vehicle suddenly developed a gearbox fault. Jaguar Menlyn have now informed me that the gearbox needs to be replaced. This vehicle has only been serviced by Jaguar Service centers. This is honestly the worst vehicle I have ever owned. I would never recommend Jaguar to anyone! Purchased in 2013 for R720,000 and worth nothing today! Absolutely pathetic!

I took my Jaguar X type to Jaguar Land rover Bedfordview. The car was involved in an accident. So it could not start. I was quoted for diagnostic, so would be quoted for repairs. I was promised to be updated in the next week. When I enquired after 2 months, I was told they only have one Jaguar technician. So the technician was off sick, there is nothing they can do. Further months passed, I enquired about the progress. I was told the car was ready to be picked up. When I went to pick up the car, it was so dirty, never washed. I was told the car have to go to a Jaguar approved panel beater. It was starting but not drivable. While I was there , I learned the car was stripped off of parts and the parts were missing. I enquired and was told that all the parts were in the car boot. We checked in the boot, but there was nothing. I was told I have to take the car with me and they will come back to me about the missing parts. That is when I discovered that the car was not indicating, had no hooter, no lights etc. When I enquired, I was told to do the panel beating with a Jaguar approved panel beater. I feel robbed here for when I took my car to them, I told them the car history. They should have advised me to go to the panel beater first before they work on the car. Also the work they did on the car was poorly done!! They stole parts from my car. I complained and I was send from pillar to post. VERY BAD AND UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE

SINCE OUR RANGE ROVER SPORT HAS BEEN SO PROBLEMATIC RANGE ROVER AGREED TO EXTEND OUR MOTOR PLAN / WARRANTY BY ANOTHER YEAR. WHEN I REMINDED THEM THEY HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS TALKING TO. THEY EMPHASIZE THAT ALL CALLS ARE RECORDED FOR QUALITY SERVICE.... WHY DONT THEY REFER TO IT. WE ARE ALSO WAITING FOR IRENE WHO IS THE MANAGER TO COME BACK TO US REGARDING THE WAY FORWARD THIS WAS 2 WEEKS AGO.
