Review for Jawitz Properties Alberton & Germiston
I was assisted by Maki ( Alberton & Germiston) and unfortunately my experience wasn’t positive. Communication was very poor , calls were often not answered and messages went without response at times. This made the process extremely stressful. The key handover was disorganised and not well managed. In addition , the seller failed to provide an updated house plan as renovations were done on the property. Overall, I expected a more professional and reliable service

05 Dec 2025, 10:38Dear Tsholofelo, Firstly, on behalf of the Alberton Office and Maki Mdlalose, we thank you for taking the time to speak with Stephen Brown (principal of this office) telephonically. Again, they apologise for the poor communication in terms of phone calls, emails and messages, as well as the disorganised handover process. This is not how we do business. We understand that as a first time Buyer this made the experience of buying your home frustrating and more stressful than what it should have been. As this was a Deceased Estate sale, the beneficiaries shared the documents they had access to which included the letter/document confirming that City of Johannesburg Building Control had approved the submitted building plans, in 2004. Following our latest correspondence on the 3rd of December, you have confirmed that you would request the plans when you visit the City of Johannesburg to open your municipal account. Thank you for your patience and enjoy your new home.
