<p>I made a reservation for 3 people at jeera at suncoast towers for lunch on new years day, I booked the buffet, sandile was the person that took the reservation, saying it starts at 12h30.</p> <p>Upon arrival, we were told it only starts at 1pm, so we waited, at 1pm we went back, and they were still not ready for the lunch, eventually we were seated at 13h20.</p> <p>We were then told there is no buffet at lunch time, by then I was frustrated as I had guests from pmb, so I called the manager, he didn't have much to say , except a weak apology.</p> <p>Basically we waited an hour for no reason, very bad service over the festive season.</p> <p>Please jeera...improve your staff</p>

pathetic service
Made a reservation in jeera for a family members 60th birthday upon arrival the staff were not prepared,the table not set nor was the preselected bottle of wine present on the table. After informing the clueless reception about the reserved table we were seated however only 4 out of the 6 of us were given menus which were just tossed on our table...WHAT A UNIQUE welcome! A few minutes later our waitress appears and ordered the preselected wine which came 20 minutes later but alas left aside and not opened til another 30 minutes later! Finally the meal arrived cold yet palatable upon recieval of the bill i was given 2 reciepts both stipulating an amount due so logically i paid for the reciept that clearly indicated the total due and my tsogo sun loyalty reward. Upon my departure outside the building i find a waitress running behind me telling that in fact the second reciept is the correct bill alas i returned to the dismal reception who showed no remorse nor interest and paid . I have never recieved such pathetic service nor met such disinterested and inhospitable staff.

Sharp plastic found in Lamb curry
On the 31st of July my fiance and myself were dining at the Restaurant Jeera in Suncoast. Less than 5 mins into my meal i had discovered a sharp plastic in my mouth..initially i assumed it was a bone,however after closer inspection it was actually a sharp plastic. We were horrified..this could have caused a possible injury too me internally if i had ingested it. I spoke too Mr Werner du preez regarding this incident he was quite apologetic and helpful. As for the supervisor Rita she is rude and very ill mannered too be working with customers. On a different occasion 3 days prior too this incident she cleared our table whilst we were still eating without even asking if we were finished.When i greeted her lastnight she looked at me,smiled and ignored me. The staff at the buffet area do not even know what dishes were available,when asked simple questions about the food ,she ignorantly looks at me and tells me shes from the cold buffet and not the hot buffet..so what was she doing at the hot buffet then?? These people are giving Jeera a terrible name!! Being a businesswoman myself i think the staff should seriously be trained or replaced. I will not return there again.
