Poor workmanship and service.
Took my vehicle in to have fuel pump replaced. Got vehicle back after two weeks. Two months later fuel pump stops working. Phoned JEG Diesel, they would not pay for the tow, I had to arrange towing of vehicle myself, company policy I was told. so I arrange vehicle to be towed, vehicle has been there for 10 days, no response, no messages, no emails nothing. Poor workmanship and service. stay away.

Fantastic Service from JEG Diesel
I just need to write about JEG Diesel as they have been absolutely AMAZING. They have such professional and friendly staff and the mechanics really know what they are doing. I felt totally at the end of my rope with my car and finally have peace of mind knowing it is in good hands and will be collecting a fully functional car that won't leave me stranded on the roadside this afternoon. So if you have a Diesel car and need to have it serviced or sorted in any way, JEG is your go to place! Thank you Sean for your amazing help and support through it all.

JEG motors ripoff
i own a small business and i use my colt 2.8 tdi for everything. at the beginning of February 2019 i sent my vehicle in for a fuel starvation issue. it started but only drove for sixty seconds and then died. i had it towed in on a flatbed so that i don't get stuck in traffic. they got it running and called me and told me that and they recommended that the diesel pump be serviced at the cost of R6000.00 excluding vat. that came to R6999.00 excluding vat. they told me to come fetch the vehicle as it is running oh and their is a noise coming from the motor. i figured that as they work on diesel motors that they have an ear for this. after paying for this i was walked through to the workshop but the four mechanics where still working on the engine. the mechanic started the engine and this heavy knocking noise came from my engine. they can fix this at my cost. the next day i paid for my vehicle to be towed home. when i got it back the loud noise was gone and now it is ever so slight knocking. so after paying just under R16000.00 i still can't drive my vehicle. when i called to speak to the boss the receptionist blocked me and said the boss was a silent partner.

Great service.. Seldom found in today's times

Quoted one price for a repair and Over Charged
JEG Diesel have had our Mercedes Benz for one month.We were quoted around R5000 for the intended repairs. When the invoice came the costs due was R10111.80 We were advised that all conversations were recorded. Once the recording was verified a new invoice would be issued. The new invoice came advising us that JEG Diesel did not have a chance to listen to the recordings, but offer us discount of half of the VAT (7%)<br> New total due R9490.90 We have no choice but pay, as the car would only be released once payment has been received. Mr Daniel Costa your customers are not being treated fairly, please advise what you are going to do about this!!!
