I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Porter and Craft at Clearwater. I purchased a very expensive leather backpack that started developing cracks out of nowhere. I took it back to the store and showed the issue to the staff. They kept my bag for almost two months, with no proper communication or updates throughout the process. After repeatedly following up and speaking to the sales assistant, my issue was finally escalated to the manager, Michelle Schoeman, who said she would take the bag to the Jekyll and Hide head office. After that, silence — no calls, no updates, nothing. I had to drive to the store several times just to find out what was going on. When I eventually got a call (after two months) to collect my bag, I was told that there was “nothing wrong with it.” To make matters worse, I was advised to “ask how to maintain and treat leather” — which felt incredibly dismissive and unhelpful. I didn’t spend that much money to be told how to care for a bag that’s clearly defective. This whole experience has been frustrating, disappointing, and completely unacceptable. I expected so much better from a brand like this. I’ll never buy from Porter and Craft again, and I strongly urge others to think twice before doing so.

I am very disappointed with the service I received from Jekyll & Hyde. From the start, I had to track my own return—even though the return waybill was arranged by them. My order has now been declared lost, and I am still waiting for my refund.What frustrates me most is that I am the one having to escalate this matter with Aramex just to get updates, because I don’t see any sense of urgency from Jekyll & Hyde’s side to resolve the issue. I have never had to track a return myself with retailers like Bash or Superbalist, and it baffles me why a lost parcel—handed directly to the courier driver arranged by them—has somehow become my problem to solve.This has been one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve had. I will never order from Jekyll & Hyde again. Even Mango, which doesn’t have a local store in South Africa, has offered me a smoother, more professional returns process than what I experienced here.

Materials may be good. That can only take your business so far. Service delivery and turn around times DEPLORABLE. Quality of my wallet leaves much to the imagination. 3 months' of light use and the seams are coming off.

I encourage people to purchase from the Jekyll and Hide brand. Not only are their products good quality but their after-sales services are stellar and efficient, their customer service proving to be the best. Jekyll and Hide prides themselves with their brand and the quality of their products, and once someone purchases from their brand, you become apart of the Jekyll and Hide family.

I have a strong affinity for Jekyll and Hide products due to their exceptional quality and style. However, my recent experience with their customer service has been somewhat challenging. Unfortunately, the stitches on my beloved bag have started to come loose, prompting me to seek assistance from their support team. Upon contacting them, I was advised to visit one of their stockists, who in turn directed me back to the original point of purchase. Despite also reaching out via email, I have yet to receive a response, leaving me feeling a bit disheartened. Despite this setback, I remain a loyal user of approximately 60% of their product range. While the process of trying to resolve this issue has been time-consuming and frustrating, I am hopeful that a resolution can be reached soon.

After searching high and low for the right handbag for my son's wedding, I came across the perfect one on Jeckyll and Hyde's website. Unfortunately time was now tight and I was not sure that anyone could deliver in time. I contacted Jeckyll and Hyde, who assured my that they were up to it. I ordered and then realised that I ordered the wrong bag. They changed the order on the fly, app**** 10% new customer discount, which meant that I did not have to pay any additional monies. I received a notice of shipment yesterday afternoon, and this morning BEFORE 09H00 I received my parcel. Best customer experience ever!

Poor service delivery via online shop. Ordered 4 working days ago just to find out that they have still not processed my order. Don't expect them to phone you back within a hour with a update.
