Outdated and greedy
I regret using Joburg Fertility Centre, and I would not recommend them even to my worst enemy. The administration and receptionist services at Joburg Fertility Centre are by far the poorest, I have experienced. Throughout our pregnancy journey, my partner and I found ourselves in a constant state of follow-up to receive even basic necessities, such as pictures from our ultrasound sessions. On one occasion, we even received another patient's ultrasound images, raising significant concerns about patient confidentiality. Furthermore, the doctor's ultrasound equipment at Joburg Fertility Centre was outdated and produced blurry images. To make matters worse, they never provided printed pictures; we had to persistently follow up to receive emailed copies. Secondly, the doctor himself was not significantly involved in our care. During each visit, the doctor's role seemed limited to performing an ultrasound, and yet, we noticed discrepancies in the consultation fees despite every consultation being identical. I asked for our full medical statement to investigate, and there was R550 credit to my account. Which Dr. Moioi has not refunded since October 25 2023. Regrettably, Dr. Moloi could not provide the guidance and advice we needed during our pregnancy journey. It often felt like we had to initiate conversations about our test results and the progress of our pregnancy. When we decided to seek care elsewhere, the challenges continued at Joburg Fertility Centre. Obtaining a referral with our medical records and reports proved impossible. Despite multiple attempts, we faced significant delays and ultimately received a referral that was unusable with no medical records. I could go on and on about the lack of compassion and greed, but I will summarise by saying this medical facility - if we can still even call it that- is only interested in money.

He is just after money
I don't like doing bad review but with this one I thought it's important that I do. I consulted Dr Moloi early Feb, he was really quick during the consultation and without looking at other factors he recommended IVF which is almost100k. He made it look like it's impossible for me to conceive naturally. August I miraculously conceive and we went to him early October. The fetus was outside the womb, so I might be having another ectopic. Without any empathy he broke the news to me and suggested that we go for suggesting in 4 days. Which we did not agree immediately, I researched and found out surgery can be avoided because I don't have a rupture on my tube by be given a medication and flush out. We went for a second opinion 2 weeks later, and the Dr told us we should go home and she'll monitor us in 3 days and if the numbers are dropping then she will give me something to flush out. Which we miraculously had a naturally bleeding, the body flushed by itself. Imagine if we have agreed? That will be my 3rd surgery and I don't even have a child yet. That was actually supposed to be Dr Moloi's initially suggestion. I fell like he is after money and careless about the well being of people. An open surgery is not something that you just decide to do to anyone without deeper consideration. I will honestly not recommend someone to see him. He is so called, and his receptionist called Saturday afternoon to confirm the time and date for surgery. I said "God forbid. That surgery is not my portion"

I've been with Dr Moloi for 13 months and I never encountered any issues before.I was disappointed with a terrible experience where they postponed my appointment the week before my actual appointment which I didn't have much problem with that. On the actual day of my appointment they called and sent a message 15 minutes before my appointment to inform me that they canceled my appointment and unfortunately I only found out that when arrived at the reception. The receptionist was insisting that she's been trying to call me since day before but I never had a calling history on my phone on previous day. I felt like they should have sent me a message atleast a day before my appointment. They did me dirty and handled everything unprofessional. I had to leave work early in order to honor my appointment not knowing I'm being canceled.
