I am extremely disappointed with the lack of response from your customer service team. On 1 December, I emailed regarding two pairs of sneakers I purchased earlier this year. Both pairs have split open under the soles despite being lightly used and rotated in my corporate finance role. I requested an email address to send photos of the defects, as well as assistance retrieving my order information, since the password-reset email for my online profile is not coming through. Although I received an automatic acknowledgement, I have not received any actual follow-up or assistance. I have since followed up twice with no meaningful response. This level of service is unacceptable, especially for a clear product issue. I would appreciate prompt assistance in resolving this matter.

Yesterday, I purchased a pair of jeans from John Craig in Giyani, only to find out later that they were defective. I returned to the store today to request an exchange, but to my surprise, the manager is making it difficult for me. I was informed that I need to wait for the request to be approved, which is quite unexpected. I didn’t anticipate this kind of service from a reputable store like John Craig. I’m still at the store waiting for a response, causing me to put my other work on hold.

I lay byed a linen shirt last year November, however because of financial reasons I went to cancel that lay bye at John Craig south gate mall, but the staff there is playing hide and seek, I'm disappointed at how you treat customers when they want to cancel lay bye.

Hi team, I was at your store at Ulundi yesterday. I wanted to buy some Polo golf shirts I've always bought them from your store. I was looking for a white one. They were dirty on the outside on the shoulders and collars. Maybe if it was one we can overlook it. It was at least 3 of them. I was very disappointed and disgusted. I don't know how you do your job and I can't tell you how but surely that's something that should've been picked up those t-shirts didn't hang themselves. It feels as if because uLundi is in the rural areas and a small town. Your staff doesn't really care about customer service or the store's appearance. That's something that needs to be looked at and fixed. I would've bought something when I walked in there but the sight of dirty clothes on your railings was really a let down. Kind regards Thulani Mthethwa

Roberto Vino Blade Sneakers that I purchased from John Graig at Wonderpark Shopping Centre on 26 November 2024 for R1899.99. Unfortunately, after wearing the sneakers for just two hours, the heel broke. This level of quality is disappointing, especially for a product of this price range. I believe that items sold should be durable and meet reasonable expectations. I have approached the team regarding a refund, but was informed that it cannot be accommodated. Given the circumstances and the poor performance of the sneakers I will never buy from them again.

I have made a lay-buy in John craig ,Bochum branch and paid my laybuy then reaching home my boy's trouser and t-shirt were not fitting him properly(they are small and too tight on him).On Tuesday I took those clothes back to the store to ask for refund then the teller called a lady whom they said is their branch manager then I explained my challenge to her,she rep**** me with an attitudinal behavior saying she would order the sizes that I'm looking for,I then told her that I have already made some arrangements to get the clothes then I need that money to replace the one I asked for the arrangement made, she told me that they do not have money at present, then I said no problem I'll leave my details so that they'll refund me when having the money,to my surprise she picked a paper from the ground writing my name and contacts and told me to go until I hear from them,I wanted to give her the clothes, she said she can't take them ;what if their business burn down while owing me?I said but since well I'm bringing these back to the store it'll mean they are part of your property and will be counted with the stocktaking during the time of an accident, she said she won't entertain me she is following her business rules. My worry comes from her attitude and me having to possess goods that I'm not satisfied with, should I keep going there to enquire of my refund with the goods that I'm not satisfied with? What if she doesn't contact me since she didn't write a report in a file/diary wherein they file important cases concerning their business??Should I possess products that aren't fit for my needs, why can't she take them and pay later to show fair treatment 'cause those goods need to be displayed and be bought, how can a brand like john craig run in a negative balance to an extent of failing to refund it's client's dissatisfactory?

In February, 23, 2024, I spent R649 at one of John Craig stores at Mthatha Circus Triangle for a POLO reversible belt (brown/black). Regretfully, their belt's quality didn't match its cost. The belt is cracked and split on each side; this is a poor-quality tragedy. The link is coated in silver, which has cleaned and revealed brown bronze. Currently, it is broken, and unfortunately, I can no longer able to use it. In addition, I've already noticed that some of their products fade in colour after a few washes. Unfortunately, I didn't bring up my concern earlier. However, after spending a significant amount of money on items, I've decided to bring this issue to their attention this time. I emailed them to voice my dissatisfaction, and they told me that I needed to bring six pictures of a damaged product and proof of purchase. I was able to create and send them the pictures, but I never kept the proof of purchase because I didn't know that their products would eventually lose their quality and value. But, since I paid with a bank card, they can still retrieve the proof of purchase from their records. However, they don't appear to want to accept responsibility for their subpar goods. I therefore need your assistance with that, as I feel that I am being taken advantage of and victimised as a customer by being offered subpar goods at such an absurd price.

As i would like to stay Anonymous, mistreated at work, john craig has no standards anymore because of people like Alfred Makgale who would always remind us that we are not educated, always belittling others at work, we dont feel at work anymore, we feel like we are at school, he's so mean and arrogant, he does not know how to speak to others, maybe its time company does something about this because we have been complaining via our (WB platform) and he always comes back and tell us "he will deal with us, if we think we know him then we dont"...And also he does not treat us the same he has his favourites, we are tired of him. Hes always on his phone with the other Regional by the name Phindile, sharing our personal issues and staff problems with her....this needs to stop, we are not happy.
