I went to Jozi Gin on Tuesday, 11th June 2019 in the afternoon to sit down with some friends and have a leisurely afternoon after work. We were served by a lovely lady, (her name evades me now.)
Before we were about to leave I ordered a cappuccino with CREAM because I am not a fan of foam. To my dismay, they did not have cream in the kitchen, however, my waitress said that she will still check.
10 minutes later, I get a cappuccino with CREAM. She apologised for the "wait" and she said the reason was because the gentleman making the coffee had gone to go and BUY cream for my cappuccino!!!
Ok, it may not seem as if this is a big deal, but it is. This is what customer service is all about. I have been to MANY restaurants, where, when they are out of cream, they actually don't care to satisfy just that one specific customer's need. The staff at Jozi Gin, had decided that I was important enough and valuable enough as a patron to go out of their way to service this need. Their effort MADE MY DAY! Customer service is alive and well at Jozi Gin at the Wedge Morningside Sandton.
Thank you for the reminder of what excellent service is.
