I had an amazing experience with Taylor made Designs when I bought my XL Beanbag. The order process was slick and efficient. I got my receipt of purchase and within a week, I received my Beanbag. I wanted to find out how to assemble it when it came but when I couldn't get through I went to their site and looked at their FAQs and there was a super helpful video on how to assemble it. The quality and care that this bag is made with really speaks to the love that Taylor made Designs puts into their craft. Thank you Taylor made Designs. I ve always wanted one like this and I am extremely happy that I got one this perfect!
I canceled my gym membership in May 2025 and was told that I would have to pay the full fees (after I moved medical aid companies) for May and for the next month (June) as part of the cancelation process, to which I agreed. In July 2025 and now in August 2025 I have been debited TWICE each month for R1149 each month a total of R2298! I called to query this and could never get through and now again I've been debited again for a gym contract that I've canceled 4 months ago. I want my money back.
Someone stole my windscreen wiper and I was directed to Goldwagen in Randburg. A gentlemen named Saelo helped me. After checking and testing on my car the wiper blade that fitted after an hour he couldn't find the part in his store. He called up another dealership that would deliver the part in an hour. When the part came he fitted it and it worked perfectly. I would like to commend his excellent customer service and his effort and willingness to get it sorted for me. What an absolute pleasure it was to have encountered someone that knows his stuff and was so willing to help.
Ocean Basket in Sandton City was quite a dissapointing experience. We visited on the 30th Dec 2024. We waited to be seated and no one came through so we just walked upstairs, we took our seats and ordered our meals. The waitress brought our bread rolls with no cutlery and no side plates. By this time we also hadn't got our drinks yet. We then got our food and the rice from the prawns I'd ordered was extremely mooshy. Our second waitress that took over our orders (Noxolo) was alot more helpful and exchanged the rice for stir fry. When I had asked my son to ask for the stir fry to be put into a takeaway container, another waiter had shouted at him to move out of his way when he was waiting to speak to our waitress. The food was extremely subpar. Don't think I'll ever go back there.
Every Wednesday Fresh car wash at Northview Shopping Centre has a polish special. Today I went there (I'm a regular) and had left my car in the care of the attendants and supervisor. I was running almost an hour late and got to the shopping Centre. My car was washed and cleaned and locked! They had probably tried calling me but couldn't get through. I had run around and the guard at the shopping Centre had told me that they left my keys with the nearby restaurant with strict instructions to give it to me only. I had zero doubt that my car would be safe and it was! I'd like to thank the people at the car wash for their trusty and amazing service! Will continue being a patron!
I went to Westpack at The Islands and was looking for a particular sweet in the sweet section. I asked a gentleman packing the sweets if he knew if they had this sweet in stock as it was not on the shelves. He said he was sure he saw it in one of the boxes at the top shelf. He called a colleague of his got a ladder and proceeded to unpack a whole stack of boxes to look for the sweet. Unfortunately he didn't find it. Lucky (his name) took time and effort (even though he was already doing something at the time) to help me look for a simple sweet. It's so rare to find such amazing customer service. Not only was he so helpful but the gentlemen who were his colleagues were also so willing to assist. Thank you, Lucky, for renewing my faith in the fact that customer service is alive and well at Westpack at The Islands.
Nqobile our Waiter, Sibonelo the Manager and the caregiver in the kiddies area have just given me renewed hope in the service industry. The Montexo Spur at Monte Casino not only served amazing food (in comparison to some other Spurs I've been to) but the service was second to none. They made me feel like everything we asked for or ordered was just the biggest pleasure they had of serving me (and the 5 other members of my family) I thoroughly enjoyed the experience because as South Africans we have become use to sub par service. But today... My hope that good customer service in the food industry still exists and my faith in it, renewed. Thank you to Sibonelo and his amazing staff at Montexo Spur Monte Fourways!
Webster just sold me a gym contract. And he did a great job!
Doppio Zero Pineslopes As friendly and amiable as the staff were we arrived at the restaurant at 1:45pm on Sunday afternoon, ordered our drinks and our food together so we could get them all at the same time. We got our drinks in 20 minutes and we got our food in an hour and 15 minutes. Staff also got one of our orders wrong. So we waited an extra 10 minutes to get our right order. Definitely not going there again.
I went in looking for a specific paint colour and brand and a gentleman named Kyle Plane assisted me and my aunt. It is people like Kayle that renews the spirit of what good customer service is. He was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful with more than just the advising on and mixing of the paint. He assisted my aunt as well with something that was not even in his own department. Thank you Kayle for making my very first paint buying experience a wonderful one.
