Received the wrong order and contacted the store immediately after delivery. My message was opened but ignored because the store was closed, and no one followed up the next day.
I paid for delivery, yet I was later told that I should have driven to the store to return the food in order for it to be corrected — despite the store being closed and unreachable at the time. That expectation is unreasonable.
Because the food was already eaten, I was told nothing could be done, even though I had tried to resolve the issue immediately and had no other option. The only resolution offered was R15 credit on a future order.
Poor customer service, poor accountability, and an unwillingness to take responsibility for their own mistake. I will not be ordering again.
If this order was place on uber eats i would have received a refund not a R15
