Bunch of Crooks
This company is just a bunch of crooks, ordered a filing cabinet and paid , the women actually called me to confirm delivery, nothing ever came and no response since. Can something not be done about taking this website down?

WARNING! Be very careful of Just Steel
I placed an order with Just steel. After phoning, shortly after and being told the delivery will take a looong time, I canceled my order. They informed me of the fees they charged and the that the refund will take equally long. Here is what happened (in a nutshell) ~ I proceded to post on hello peter. ~ They immediately knew I posted and told me via email that "if I remove the helloPeter post, they will do the refund". ~ I removed it. ~ They did nothing. ~ I proceded to find the owner's (Mr Peter Lingwood) email address. (They refused to give it to me and when I found it and asked the call centre lady, she lied about it being his email address) ~ I emailed him and he threatened me multiple times with legal action. ~ He also did not hold back on personal insults. ~ I proceded to report them to the CGSO. ~ They then sent me an email saying "If I retract my complaint, they will do the refund". ~ I replied with "no, as I would have no recourse if they (again) just not pay me back". * Now this is interesting, does this not sound like someone trying to keep a clean name by trying to manipulate their already conned 'clients'? ~ A few more threats of legal action against me. (none with any real weight and they never did, even asking them to please do so) ~ Now they are ignoring all my emails and calls. ~ No refund, nothing. I will proceed to make a case of fraud and extortion against the owner himself as well as one against the company, at SAPS, by the end of next week. *NOTE: They do have a very thorough terms and conditions/Return conditions policy, most of it is in contradiction with the consumer protection act as well as the freedom of speech act. It is also set up very cleverly to keep everyone from posting anything on any media platform (hmmm, yes that does sound fishy). They stubbornly stick to it claiming they are in their legal rights, but it comes down to extortion. Don't be threatened by it/them. They make empty threats on a constant basis.

Just steel, the real deal?
So this company operates under the most ridiculous terms and conditions that they say "you agree on by paying for an item'. Please be warned that even though this is not legally binding (they say it is but the/some of terms and conditions are in contradiction with the consumer act). The problem however is that these guys then hold you by it and you have no choice but to forfeit your money or hope to come to some conclusion. They seem to run on forcing people to wait for unknown lengths of time for their (fully paid) order or complain... Then they use your complaint against you saying that you breached contract and they now keep your money. This is extortion at its best. They also seem to run on the unfortunate basis that most people will either, be intimidated by their empty threats of legal action (also part of their ridiculous terms and conditions) against you for complaining about them, or to not have the time/resources to take them to court. Good luck in trying to get any solid information about the company itself... They run a (what they think very clever) internet based company with a 'trading as' name, only one number and one email address to contact them and no physical address.

No response & product - SCAM
Beware that this is a SCAM. How do they get away with it?? The goods never arrived and they do not answer their phones or reply to emails. Bye Bye money & goods. At this point they have vanished off the face of the earth.

Non-Delivery, No Contact, BEWARE
SCAM - Seriously, quote from 3 May 2018, told delivery would be 29 June 2018. Haven't received the items, nor any contact from the company. Attempts to call and check up on progress have gone unanswered. Beware of this company, do not use them.

They do 'just steal'.
This company is definitely a fraudulent company. I have not received my order and they leave one without recourse against them, stating that they will refuse your refund or your product if you complain against them not delivering... That sound quite fishy does it not? They argue to be legally correct to do so but that is hogwash. Be very careful of Just steel...
