Tusk Explorer / Kanopi
I initially purchased the canopy on November 24, 2022, paying an urgent fee to receive it by December 15, 2022. However, the canopy that arrived was clearly scratched and had bent doors. After consulting with Francois at Tusk, the canopy was replaced after three months. Francois (the owner as he told me) even offered a free roof table as compensation, but this never materialized.
However, the new canopy were even worse. Whenever it rains, even slightly, the inside of the canopy becomes saturated with water. Both side panels are leaking at the door hinges, and even the sliding windows are letting water in. In fact, the welding joints are also causing leaks.
I have already spoken to Pieter (Francois's partner at TUSK) on multiple occasions and sent video footage of the leaking canopy. While he agreed to replace it again, he requested a month to build a new one. However, it has now been over a month and still no canopy. I struggled to get hold of TUSK as they were not responding to my messages or answered my calls or emails. The funny thing is that they answered their phone when I phoned them from another number, only to end the call immediately after they heard it was me who is phoning.
They only came back to me after I wrote a review on social media.
They offered to repair my canopy, but I declined as I paid for a NEW canopy.
Still waiting for an outcome.........
