Worst service ever, I urge anyone considering using Khwela in their complex or anywhere else, or anyone considering renting a place that utilizes Khwela to re consider. DO NOT rent a place that has Khwela as their service provider. worst service ever, and when I say they are expensive, trust me they load their pricing by a whole bunch. Good Luck.

Mid City's customer service is non-existent! I have not received my water and sanitation account for the month or an SMS reminder with the amount. I have sent 4 e-mails and phoned but received no reply - or a call-back as promised, because the consultant was on the phone with someone else. And now I suppose they are going to charge me interest for their lack of service...

Mid City's customer service is non-existent! I have not received my water and sanitation account for the month or an SMS reminder with the amount. I have sent 4 e-mails and phoned but received no reply - or a call-back as promised, because the consultant was on the phone with someone else. And now I suppose they are going to charge me interest for their lack of service...

I cancelled my services with Khwela Power Metering as I am moving and luckily to my old electricity supplier Impact Metering which in 8 years I never had a problem with and received excellent customer service.<br> I send my cancellation and asked that they will confirm receipt which they did along with information regarding my deposit and that my last account will be deducted from my deposit. I did not pay my account as was stipulated. Today, 13th of April 2016, my housekeeper phoned me to say a letter was dropped of and the electricity is cut. I phoned Khwela immediately to investigate as I am a single Mom with a child and cannot sit without electricity.My credit controller Rene Poonsamy, as usual was very unhelpful, not interested in my complaint and just advice that I must pay the bill, letter that was delivered and re connection fee. He said that on the 7th the delivered a final demand letter which cost the customer R159. On the 7th my housekeeper was at my home and did not receive anything. If it was delivered then I would have phoned them and queried the fact that their mail says don't pay your last account but now I receive a final demand and the account would have been paid.
