Appalling service from Kia Salesman

We went to Kia motors, Somerset West because I am interested in buying a new vehicle. I currently drive a Kia and always have it serviced there - so it was natural to return to Kia. However, I was shocked at the poor service received from the Sales Consultant. Apparently there is a national stock shortage of the vehicle that I am interested in. He offered the more expensive next option and when I said that I was not interested as it was way above my budget he basically lost interest. I told him that I am not in a rush and could wait for the model I was interested in, however I basically had to beg him just to show me the vehicles that he had in the lot as I had only seen it online. He scratched around for a key - then walked out to the lot and when I asked if he could open the vehicle, he had to go inside to get the Key! He walked lazily and at his leisure while we stood outside like fools. He then unlocked the vehicle and stood 2meters away without telling us a single thing about the vehicle. Not even 1 spec or feature was mentioned. I asked him why he had so little passion about his product and he said Kia couldn't expect them to have passion if there is no stock. I was appalled because to me this is a lot of money to spend yet the Salesman is not interested in my business? I asked if he could add my name to a waiting list and he said that he doesn't really have a list because it could take anything from a month to 3 and then customers get upset with him. Then I had to ask him really nicely if he could at least run the numbers for me, so I could see what the installment would be. He did so and gave me figures verbally. He did not print out anything, did not offer me his business card or a brochure and also did not take down my details as a potential customer for when he had stock! Then to add insult to injury he continued telling me that this specific model was made in India instead of Korea like my current vehicle and is not exactly the same standard as the models from Korea is of much higher standard with better finishes! I could not believe my ears and now I am questioning buying a Kia ever again!
