My review is for Kia Paarden Eiland
I took my car in for a service on 18 December 2023. Upon collection, I noticed some scratches and a small dent on the driver's door. I immediately informed the service consultant who informed the service manager, Mumtaz Ebrahim. Mumtaz took some pics and assured me that the issue will be rectified as soon as the panel shops opened in January. It is now almost 5 months later and the progress towards resolving the issue has been unacceptably slow. Despite my persistent efforts to communicate and seek a speedy resolution, there has been a glaring lack of initiative and urgency from Kia's end.
Furthermore, I am disappointed to highlight that the service manager, Mumtaz, has shown a complete disregard for addressing and rectifying this issue. Despite being informed of the damages and my repeated attempts to seek assistance, Mumtaz has displayed a concerning lack of effort and commitment to resolving the matter. I eventually contacted the dealer principle, Jo-Ann Leuner, on 7 February 2024. Needless to say, the issue is still outstanding and even Jo-Ann's lack of urgency is concerning.
I was requested to drive my car into the dealership on 15 April 2024 so that the damages can be assessed - once again. My car was taken to 2 panel beater shops and I am still waiting for feedback. I dealt with Grant Collinicos on this day who has been the only person since the start of the process to apologise for the inconvenience thus far.
I have remained patient throughout this process, understanding that these matters can sometimes take time to resolve. However, the prolonged delay and lack of tangible progress have tested my patience and left me deeply frustrated.
