I’m disappointed with the service my husband received at Kia Paarden Eiland. He wasn’t greeted politely at all. The person who helped him was cold and unresponsive. What made it worse was seeing how warmly other (white) customers were being treated, laughing and chatting comfortably with the sales staff while he was made to feel unwelcome and ignored. It was a painful and frustrating experience. Everyone deserves to be treated with the same respect and friendliness, no matter who they are. This left a bad impression.

My experience with Kia Multifranchise Paarden Eiland, Cape Town has been an absolute nightmare. I took my car in for a service on Monday, 20 January 2025. During the inspection, they found issues supposedly covered by the Kia Warranty. They assured me the claim was submitted and that I'd receive feedback by Wednesday, 22 January. Wednesday came and went—no update. By Friday, 24 January, I had to chase them down myself. After being promised a callback, guess what? Nothing. Not a single call. The entire following week (27 – 31 January) was spent making countless phone calls, desperately trying to get some clarity. All I got was excuses and silence. The final insult came today, 31 January. When I called, the switchboard operator had the audacity to tell me that nobody at the dealership could assist because they were all busy in the workshop. Seriously? Not a single person available to handle a customer inquiry? That’s the definition of a business that doesn't care. This level of incompetence and disregard for customers is appalling. It’s the worst service I’ve ever received. If you want to save yourself endless frustration and disappointment, stay far away from this dealership. And if this is a reflection of the Kia brand’s service standards, I will absolutely reconsider ever buying a Kia again.

My review is for Kia Paarden Eiland I took my car in for a service on 18 December 2023. Upon collection, I noticed some scratches and a small dent on the driver's door. I immediately informed the service consultant who informed the service manager, Mumtaz Ebrahim. Mumtaz took some pics and assured me that the issue will be rectified as soon as the panel shops opened in January. It is now almost 5 months later and the progress towards resolving the issue has been unacceptably slow. Despite my persistent efforts to communicate and seek a speedy resolution, there has been a glaring lack of initiative and urgency from Kia's end. Furthermore, I am disappointed to highlight that the service manager, Mumtaz, has shown a complete disregard for addressing and rectifying this issue. Despite being informed of the damages and my repeated attempts to seek assistance, Mumtaz has displayed a concerning lack of effort and commitment to resolving the matter. I eventually contacted the dealer principle, Jo-Ann Leuner, on 7 February 2024. Needless to say, the issue is still outstanding and even Jo-Ann's lack of urgency is concerning. I was requested to drive my car into the dealership on 15 April 2024 so that the damages can be assessed - once again. My car was taken to 2 panel beater shops and I am still waiting for feedback. I dealt with Grant Collinicos on this day who has been the only person since the start of the process to apologise for the inconvenience thus far. I have remained patient throughout this process, understanding that these matters can sometimes take time to resolve. However, the prolonged delay and lack of tangible progress have tested my patience and left me deeply frustrated.

We have had the worst service experience with Kia Cape Town. We have been waiting 10 months for an upgrade to our Kia radio software so our rear view camera can work. Our calls are never returned, and no progress has been made in the slightest.

Kia Paarden Eiland has the friendliest staff and the best service! JP Visser, thank you so much for your assistance! He made me feel at ease and comfortable with my choice and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my deal. He made my choice super easy. He was always checking in on me to see if I'm happy during the process. Had all the patience with me and made sure that he found the car I was interested in. From the moment I stepped into the dealership, until I drove my new car out of there, he was friendly and genuine. He was even more excited than I was for my new car lol. The best service I've received. So thank you! The financial manager, Latasha was just as great! Very sweet, friendly woman. Made me at ease with the whole process and explained everything accordingly and would respond instantly when I needed assistance. Thank you so much once again. I am extremely happy about my choice.

In 2017 my engine was replaced due to it being faulty by kia Paarden Eiland. This was done under warranty as you can see by the attachment. My father passed in July and the car had to be transferred and therefore I needed to send my car for road worthy before my cars license expired on the 31st October 2022. I took my car for road worthy, only to find out that the engine numbers didn't match that of my license disc and therefore could not be done. How is it possible to not send a car for engine clearance after the engine was replaced and if it was overlooked, why was I not notified about this sooner? I immediately took my car to KIa Paarden Eiland and spoke to Mumtaz Ebrahim who said he is going to look into this. It is now a month later and my 21 day grace period for my car license has since expired. I can't renew my license until the clearance is done. I tried to call Mr Ebrahim today to no avail. This is truly outrageous as I am already going to pay a penalty for my car license the longer this goes on. I am a financial planner and can't afford to be without a car as I am on the road everyday Can a manager please call me on 073 645 20 55 urgently to rectify this issue.

Had the worst experience. Walked in and the lady immediately profiled us. She refused to let us sit in the car to see if we were happy. After hearing I got approval from Renault and audi her tune changed. Disgusting service. She refused to give her name. Not sure if this is racism or blantent lack of customer service. You literally lost a potential customer due to terrible service.
