Kimberly Clark SA
Based on recent customer reviews, Kimberly Clark SA is facing significant dissatisfaction from long-standing customers, particularly regarding Huggies nappies and Kotex sanitary products. A recurring theme is concern about declining product quality, with customers reporting defective nappies, broken fasteners, and adhesive issues on pads. Customers consistently mention frustration with the call centre and complaint resolution process, citing unanswered emails, unfulfilled voucher promises, and difficulty escalating issues. Loyalty appears to be eroding, with several reviewers indicating they trusted the brand for years and now feel let down by both product and service standards.

Dear Huggies South Africa Customer Care, I am writing to formally complain about multiple packs of Huggies Gold Size 5 nappies that appear to be defective and have caused a severe rash and skin injury to my child. I have been using Huggies Gold since my child was born and have never experienced any issues before. Recently, after using a new batch of Size 5 nappies, my child developed a very severe nappy rash. The rash initially went away, but after continued use it returned much worse, to the point where the skin became raw and started bleeding, almost as if the skin had been cut. After noticing this reaction, I inspected the nappies and found that: The inside filling/cotton feels loose and uneven The nappies feel unusually hard/stiff from the outside Multiple bags from the same purchase appear to have the same problem The expiry date reflects 2029, yet the product quality feels abnormal compared to the Huggies Gold nappies I have always used Due to the seriousness of the reaction, I immediately stopped using the nappies. I have kept the packaging, batch information, and defective nappies as evidence, along with photographs of the product and the injuries caused. This situation has caused: Pain and discomfort for my child Medical concern regarding possible skin damage/infection Financial loss, as I spent a significant amount of money on multiple unusable packs The batch for all 5 packs i bought is CT01 I bought it at shoprite in randfontein I am requesting: An urgent investigation into this batch/product quality issue Collection or inspection of the defective nappies A full refund or compensation for the defective packs purchased Written feedback regarding the outcome of the investigation Please provide me with a case/reference number and advise on the next steps as soon as possible. I expect this matter to be treated urgently due to the health and safety concerns involved.

I guess with the decline in the quality of "Baby Soft" you will be bring the prices down to align with grade 2 or 3 types of papers? Certainly not as soft or light. money saver? i am sure you will pass that saving onto the to customers who bought based on previous experience?

I entered the Huggies “Win nappies for a year” competition in 2025 at SPAR Kocksoord. The competition ended on 31 May 2025 and stated that there would be one winner per store. In November 2025 I received an SMS confirming that I am a winner and that vouchers would be sent within two weeks. On 19 December 2025 at 17:03 I received a further SMS apologising for delays and confirming vouchers would be sent by the end of January. To date, nothing has been received. This prize is time-sensitive — my child will no longer be in nappies by the time anything is delivered. Calls and emails to the Kimberly-Clark call centre have been unsuccessful, with agents stating they are unaware of the competition. This feels misleading and unacceptable. I am requesting immediate resolution or compensation equivalent to the promised prize.

The worst customer service received, I have purchased a pack of huggies gold,we get home unpack the nappies in the nappy cupboard and dispose of the till slip and later on find that there are rejects in nappies. I have emailed huggies and sent them proof and photos of the horrible quality of they nappies. I was told that I will receive feedback in 10 days and no feedback was received, I called Kimberly Clark and was told that they need the packaging or till slip.no where on the packaging states that keep till slip and packaging if the item is faulty. We trust huggies and they are a well established company who we put our trust in to ensure we do not receive damaged.
