Disappointed with King Cars Bellville – Lack of Transparency

I purchased a VW Polo TSI Trendline from King Cars Bellville in March 2022 and, unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. A year later, when I took the car to VW Parow for a check-up, I was shocked to learn that the vehicle had previously been involved in an accident something that was never disclosed at the time of purchase.

The right headlight had glue on it, which is a clear sign of prior damage, and one of the engine pins was also glued. To make matters worse, I had to replace a leaking water pump, an issue that should have been caught before selling the car.

The salesperson, Petrie, assisted me with the purchase, but at no point did he mention that the car had any prior damage. I strongly believe that dealerships should be transparent about a vehicle’s history so that customers can make informed decisions.

I would not recommend King Cars Bellville to anyone looking for a used car unless they thoroughly inspect it with an independent mechanic first. Their lack of honesty and failure to disclose important information has been frustrating and costly for me.

If you’re considering buying from them, be cautious and double-check everything!
