I tried to book an internal flight in Japan assuming that the ticket would be confirmed immediately. Almost 24 hours later and Kiwi says that they cannot confirm the ticket due to "technical issues" between them and the carrier and they can only issue a 90% refund. I have requested a 100% refund as I need to book connecting flights as well but they keep sending me the same system-generated message. AVOID THIS SITE LIKE THE PLAGUE AND DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

I made a booking via kiwi.com, from CPT to JHB, I canceled my booking on 13 December, they told me that I need to wait 14 days to get my refund and the 14 days has passed, I never get an clear communication from them, I'm the one doing the follow up, they keep tell me that the third-party is delaying the process, so I called the Airline I was going to use which is Airlink and they informed me that, my booking is not canceled and no communication from kiwi.com regarding my cancelation. Nathan from Kiwi is the person I'm was chatting too, I requested the communication that was sent from kiwi to Airlink and he told me I had to wait 3 days to receive the email with the communication 😠. 14 days plus 3 days waiting. In my case I don't know who is fooling who 😠 all I want is my refund, but you get the stupid auto respond with apologies and no direct information to when I will receive my refund from kiwi.. NEVER USE THEM

I booked tickets through Kiwi.com on 5 July 2025 and immediately noticed a mistake on the name of one of the tickets. I requested a name change right away and was charged almost the same amount as for a new ticket for it. Weeks later, I was refunded only half of that charge, as they claimed they could only amend the name on certain tickets. Since then, the situation has become a complete mess: • No proper name change was ever done on any of the tickets I originally bought. • I was forced to purchase additional tickets for the legs they said couldn’t be changed. • I now have duplicate tickets for some parts of my trip, but no valid tickets for others, as they are now claiming that they actually could change the name on the new tickets, but not for the other legs of the trip. • I keep getting conflicting information about which legs were supposedly changed. • To make it worse, the agency has stopped responding to my requests for clarification. This entire experience has been stressful, costly, and unprofessional. At this point, I feel I cannot trust Kiwi.com with any future bookings. Travel is stressful enough without having to fight for basic communication and accountability from the company you book with. I strongly advise others to think twice before using this agency.

If you click on Kiwi.com, you are already in trouble. Stay away! Even the name is misleading. The company is not based in New Zealand as the name would suggest, but in Brno, Czechia. I only received 12,9% of my costs back after I had to cancel the flights (only the tax was refunded). If you look at reviews, there is concensus among travellers, that Kiwi.com has poor customer service, strict refund policies (they often follow their own refund rules rather than airline policies), they have hidden fees and restrictions and self-transfer risks. Booking directly with airlines is often safer.

Shooocking beyond words, bought tickets to Cambodia via connecting flights and was issued etickets by Kiwi. Fast forward to boarding being misled to a destination and could not get on the flights unless paying the exact amount initially paid for the tickets to get to that destination. They refuse to take any responsibility and refund the tickets and just closed the issue as non of their responsiblity.

I Bought a ticket and realized 10 Minutes later that it has 4 stops .I cancelled it and hoped to a refund and then start over. I can tell you that the ticket was not even booked with the carrier yet as I tried consulting them and all they gave me was R198.18.That was the quickest way to lose money, and I dealt with robots until the end.I wish reach lots of people to avoid this unnecessary loss

ABSOLUTE ****! DON'T EVER BOOK WITH KIWI !! I booked a connecting flight with Kiwi from El Nido to Ho Chi Minh City with a stopover in Manila. Unfortunately, the first flight got postponed 5 hours, so I was forced to book a new flight for the first part to not loose my second flight. They didn't give me any option to get refunded for the first flight. The only options were: Cancel the whole trip or book a new flight on your own. Kiwi doesn't do ANYTHING for you to help! After I booked my new first flight, I contacted the airline myself and after a few weeks, I got the written confirmation that they had refunded my money back to the travel agency Kiwi (unfortunately). But Kiwi denies having received any refund from the airline, thus refuses to refund me, although they clearly have my money in their possession according to the airline itself! This is so ********, I can't believe it! We have to sue them. Apparently they do this all the time, it's a planned ****! Please report them in your country. I have. This **** must stop!
