Attention owner of 2013 Silver Polo GTI w/ registration FJ 68 LH-GP
If you are the previous owner of a 2013 Polo GTI with registration FJ 68 LH - GP and sold your car to LA Cars in Meyerton, please contact me on zabdulkarrim@yahoo.com I've purchased this vehicle over 7 months ago from LA Cars and Owen/Dillan did advise me that there is a settlement of R70k owed to the bank even after I paid the full amount for the car. All the staff at LA Cars are liars and just being middle men to eat the hard earned money of others who buy/sell cars to these dealerships. ****ing disgusting!

La Cars/Slique Cars are out to defraud you of you car or money
PLEASE stay away from Slique cars - Vereeniging and La Cars in Meyerton, they will take your car on consignment and then will not pay you all the money they owe you when they sell it. If you buy a car from them then the chanes are good that you will not get the papers for the car. These companies (one and the same) are scam artists and have numerous police cases opened against them. See other reviews and also refer to Hi-Brid Auto, it is the same people.

La Cars/Slique Cars are out to defraud you of you car or money
PLEASE stay away from Slique cars - Vereeniging and La Cars in Meyerton, they will take your car on consignment and then will not pay you all the money they owe you when they sell it. If you buy a car from them then the chanes are good that you will not get the papers for the car. These companies (one and the same) are scam artists and have numerous police cases opened against them. See other reviews and also refer to Hi-Brid Auto, it is the same people.

7 months and STILL waiting...
It's been almost 7 months since i purchased my vehicle at LA CARS in Meyerton and to date i have still not received the licence plates, log book nor spare keys. I am trying to get a hold of the sales consultant, Owen/Dillan to get me new temporary permits (i think i've been issued about 10 permits already) and can't seem to get a hold of him anymore. This has been going on too long and the dealership simply does not care. I am paying monthly for a car that does not even belong to me. God forbid, if i am involved in an accident, the insurance will not pay out because the car DOES NOT BELONG TO ME YET!!! I cannot even begin to explain my frustration with this dealership - it's been months and they still owe the previous owner of the vehicle monies. Just this week i spoke to Owen/Dillan and he says they owe about R50k on the car. How does one pay for a car (me) and the dealership doesnt pay the previous owner of the car??????????????????????????????????????????????? Seems like the dealership pockets all the cash and leaves us hanging - scam much? My log book, my licence plates and spare keys is all i ask for. But all i get is lies and stories of sales consultants ending up in hospital (2nd time i heard this excuse). Stop the lies and the avoidance. Give me what was promised!

Please do not deal with these people. There whole purpose is to steal from you. You will not get your money when they sell your car and if you buy from them the chances are that they will not have the cars papers for you because the seller is withholding them as they have not been paid for the car. These people belong to the same group as Slique cars in Vereeniging and the now closed Hi-Brid auto in Ridgeway which did the same scams - see https://www.enca.com/shows/checkpoint-hi-brid-auto-part-2 Dillan Kaylan Ankiah from the video is now listed as the director of Slique Cars/LA Cars which are one and the same.

La cars just don't go there!
If you place an online add to sell your car then LA cars will call you. They target and prey on private sellers. The modus operandi is that they want to see the car. Next thing they want you to leave the car with them under the false pretence that they have a buyer....which is a blatant lie. They do not buy your car nor do they have a buyer. Be careful please and rather stay away. You will end up in court with civil proceedings to get your car or your money. There are other reliable and honest dealers where you can sell your car.
