La Cars/Slique Cars are out to defraud you of you car or money
PLEASE stay away from Slique cars - Vereeniging and La Cars in Meyerton, they will take your car on consignment and then will not pay you all the money they owe you when they sell it. If you buy a car from them then the chanes are good that you will not get the papers for the car. These companies (one and the same) are scam artists and have numerous police cases opened against them. See other reviews and also refer to Hi-Brid Auto, it is the same people.

Slique Cars - New sales team the same as the old one - full of lies
So, no surprise the new team also went back on their word and only one payment was made and then more promises but no payments. Appears Mohamed who supposed to be the new sales manager has also picked up the company policy to telling lies and making promises he cannot keep. PLEASE stay away from Slique cars - Vereeniging and La Cars in Meyerton, they will take your car on consignment and then will not pay you all the money they owe you. If you buy a car from them then the chanes are good that you will not get the papers for the car. These companies (one and the same) are scam artists and have numerous police cases opened against them.

New sales team at Slique Cars promise to turn it around.
Went in to Slique cars in Vereeniging on the 21st October and met Mo who is now the sales manager at the dealership. He informed me that the people responsible for all the payment problems at Slique are no longer working there and that he would personally sort out my issues. We agreed on part payment this Friday (25th Oct) with 2 more payments after that to settle the balance owing. He seems to be a genuine person who wants to look after his customers. Will re-visit this review on Friday after the payment deadline. Good work Mo, keep it up.

Please DO NOT deal with LA Cars
Please do not deal with these people. There whole purpose is to steal from you. You will not get your money when they sell your car and if you buy from them the chances are that they will not have the cars papers for you because the seller is withholding them as they have not been paid for the car. These people belong to the same group as Slique cars in Vereeniging and the now closed Hi-Brid auto in Ridgeway which did the same scams - see https://www.enca.com/shows/checkpoint-hi-brid-auto-part-2 Dillan Kaylan Ankiah from the video is now listed as the director of Slique Cars/LA Cars which are one and the same.

Hi-Brid people now operation under different dealerships in Vaal area
Please note that these scammers are now operating under the name of Slique cars in Vereeninging and La Cars in Meyerton. A lot of the same people are involved including Dillan Kaylan Ankiah who appear in the footage from the ENCA show called checkpoint https://www.enca.com/shows/checkpoint-hi-brid-auto-part-2. Dillan is listed as the director of Slique Cars and they are using the same company reg number as LA Cars.

Tried to sell a demo gas hob unit as new
Did an online order for the first time at builders warehouse and never again. I decided to buy a gas hob and used the online system as they offered an extra 15% discount for first time users. Received a call from the Southgate builders express store to say my item was ready for collection. Got there and when they brought it out the box was open and pieces for the gas burners were missing and the item was also scratched. They wanted to give me a refund but only for the discounted price which meant that I would need to pay full price in-store somewhere else. I asked if I could pick one up at another branch instead but they said their driver would have to fetch it and I would have to come back again when he got back. This meant another 50km round trip because they tried to palm off a demo unit instead of ordering a new one in the first place. The lack of customer service was mind blowing, no offer to try and get a better solution. It would be much easier just to walk in the store and then you can see what you are getting before you buy.

Slique Cars Vereeniging - Con Artists
They offer to sell you car and when they do they do not pay you. They give you all the excuses not to pay, meanwhile the person who bought the car for the full price is driving your car which is still in your name because you still have the papers. Please see reviews on Hybrid Auto and LA cars in meyerton. They are all the same group of fraudsters trading under different names. Do not buy or sell your car to them.

Cannot cancel revolving loan
Good day, I am writing to complain about service fees that are being charged to my revolving credit plan account - which is linked to my premier cheque account . On the 7th March I applied for the revolving credit account to the value of R30000.00 based on information on the website that says ONLY PAY A MINIMAL MONTHLY FEE WHEN YOU USE THE LOAN. On the 7/3/2018 i was charged a R150.00 initiation fee which I settled immediately. I have no problem with that. But on the 31/3/2018 an amount of R52.95 was deducted from my cheque account via debit order for a Pro rata service fee on my revolving loan account. On 3/4/2018 I went into the Mall of the South FNB branch to query this and the customer consultant confirmed that I should only pay fees if I have used the account, which I have not - no money has been transferred from the revolving loan to my cheque account. The consultant tried twice to speak to the credit department and she told me that both times the phone was put down on her while she was querying my problem. I have subsequently requested a cancellation of the revolving loan facility (Ref ********** )and would like the pro rata charge and the initiation fee (Total of R206.95) refunded to my cheque account as I feel that FNB was not clear upfront on any potential charges. This issue has cost me time and money to go into the branch to try and sort this out and even they do not seem to understand the product and cannot effect any work on the account - they say they have to contact the credit department (If they do not put the phone down on them). On the 30th April I was again charged a monthly fee. Please cancel this facility immediately. I await your reply on this before exercising my right to take this matter further and explore other options.
