Withdrew from this medics aid on 18th November 2025, last day ,31st December 2025. New medical send my card, a congratulations and benefits started 1 January 2026 Last week my new medical aid suspended my benefits as they were not paid. Contacted LA health,only to find out they never withdrew me,sat with my withdrawal form and did not submit to their big bosses or updated my resignation from their scheme They are a bunch of *******,****mers. I don’t want to belong to them anymore. Yet yall deliberately withheld my resignation , all for money

Pathetic medical aid scheme
I'm so disappointed, I have been with LA HEALTH for over 20years.I'm on chronic medication and on January I was unable to get my medication at pharmacy because I found out that I had to pay a co payment because the scheme no longer pays for this medication. That left me without a medication for over a month because the scheme never informed me of this sudden change to prepare my self, or to find a schemethat willpay for my medication,they don't care about our lives,they only need money from us.

Worst Medical Aid Ever!
I am quite disappointed as I thought changing my medical aid to LA Health which is administered by Discovery will be a better option. I have been on treatment for a chronic condition and have been on the same meds for the past 13 years only to find out that LA Health does not pay for the full costs of these meds and treatment. My previous medical aid has covered all costs relating to my chronic condition. LA Health wants my doctor to now change my meds to something else which they pay for after I have been on the same meds and have had no medical issues since I was diagnosed with my condition. Or I must pay two thirds of the cost of the medication. I find it frustrating as I now need to see how my body responds to the new medication as I am not in a position to afford these costs and I am also paying for a medical aid that doesn't cover these costs. I should have rather not switched medical aids had I known this was to happen. Now I have to wait a whole year again to change back to my previous medical aid.

Non responsive to inquiries!
Dear LA Health I have been consistently reaching out to you in an effort to find out why a certain practitioner was not paid. I’ve made a call on the number provided on your webpage but I keep being transferred to one person to another without finding assistance. Please improve on your communication and train your employees that deals with inquiries to take responsibility and provide assistance instead of shifting from one person to the next. Two days I forwarded an email of inquiry and still did not receive any feedback.
