Mv husband made use of their services recently who is a certified IT specialist And what a disgrace of a business these people are. He had to order a new LCD for one of his customers. And finally the new _CD arrived. When he opened the package you can clearly see the screen is damaged and was dropped before they packaged it He logged a complaint with them and they sent the courier to collect it from him. They are now done with the investigation anc quess what my husband as the customer gets the blame for the damaged to the screen. Monev down the drain. We now need to cover the cost of their negligence out nevertheless we made peace with it Please what ever vou do, do not use them rather pay a bit extra somewhere else and get better service

Bunch of lying ******! Not only is there communication extremely poor. After you get your quote, pay for something, there is ZERO communication until the package is delivered (You just "hope" you get it. You can follow-up as much as you want, no replies. Send a new mail for a new quote - They QUICKLY respond.... My recent interaction with them was absolutely disgusting and disappointing! I received an LCD broken (you can clearly see it was dropped on the left corner (edge)... Packaging was very poor - although, you can clearly see it was dropped before packaging it!! And of course, guess what?!! Yes, you guessed it, they are blaming me (the customer) and it was completely fine after they tested it... Sure! Which evidence do you have that the guy who took it off the bench didn't drop it and then just kept quiet and packaged it like that?! Needless to say, even though they obviously don't care... I won't be using their services EVER again!! Goodbye and may your business thrive on dishonesty and lies as it has been!

I have ordered a laptop part on the 9th of May 2025, it is now the 13th of July 2025 and I have not received my part. It costed R814 and they said it will be delivered within 2 weeks. I am disappointed and they do not even respond the my emails. **** businesses should be shut down and arrested for *****ulent activities. Period!

I have dealt with LAPTOP MECHANIC a few years now , however Loyalty and Reputation clearly means nothing to them!! I ordered and paid for a Laptop Battery that was delivered and when placed in my Laptop was faulty. I made a video and took photos of this showing that my Current Battery registered and Charged and their Battery said NO BATTERY present and did not charge. Even with this conclusive proof they said that the Battery was not Faulty? I decided not to debate the issue and asked for a refund so i could go elsewhere as they were not listening to me or acknowledging the proof. In response i received a credit note , less the courier fee for returning a Battery that was supp**** Faulty. As you can see there are a long list of Bad Reviews for Laptop Mechanic , not that it seems to bother them as they continue with this poor service. So now i am FORCED to deal with them to use up my credit note? I am in the Computer industry and will be sure to Immediately let everyone i have referred to them to STAY AWAY!!

I needed to replace my (difficult to find) laptop battery and Laptop Mechanic came to the rescue. My quote request was answered in very little time and Laptop Mechanic provided the exact replacement which i installed and it works perfectly. Fantastic service is an understatement!! I've had an issue with a client's laptop charge port that got damaged and needed to be repaired. Reached out to two of the largest laptop repair centers in Gauteng only to be told they have to replace the entire motherboard at a cost higher than that of a new laptop. Apparently the charge port itself could not be relaced on its own. David at Laptop Mechanic assured me that this is in fact not the case and that he would be able to replace only the charge port and that it would cost less than a tenth of my original quotes from the so called "masters"... Needless to say, the repair was done in a day and a half and I have a smiling customer again.... Laptop Mechanic has my vote and certainly a customer for life. Thank you David, your service is unparalleled and is much appreciated.

Do not do business with this guy! I ordered a trackpad that had cost me R747.50 for an acer laptop and received on the 30th of November 2024. Before installing the trackpad. I decided to try and install drivers from the acer website and to my surprise, it worked! I then asked if I could get a refund on the part as it hasn’t been used and this is what he said “ The agents ask Restocking fee of 30% plus the courier fee to send it back to them R110”. I then agreed and said it fine I understand and drove to his place to drop it off on the the 4th of December as it was my day off. It’s the 19th of December and I have still not received my refund. I doesn’t take three weeks to do a simple refund. Already I have lost some of what I have paid, but he still refuses to refund the the balance which is not even a lot. It’s not about the money, it’s about the principal. Every time I ask about the refund he says that he is waiting for acer to send him a credit. 3 WEEKS!!!! I will never do business with Laptop Mechanic ever again and I wouldn’t recommend anyone. 100% Bad service.
