Rude and arrogant owner!

I made an appointment with this salon for today 09/03 at 15:00 with Ronel. (the owner) She did forward me the cancellation policy and some info about the treatment I booked for etc. However, early this morning, something came up at work and I immediately sent her a msg, at 05:17 requesting if I could reschedule my appointment to the next day, same time. The salon does not operate on a Sunday so even if I knew on the Sunday that I wasn't going to make it for my appointment the next day, she would have only received my msg this morning at 9 when she opens. So whether I sent the msg on Sunday or on the Monday, she would have received it at the same time. So cancelling 24 hours in advance seemed illogical. She responded and said that she could move my appointment to Wednesday but a 50% reschedule fee would apply. I explained to her that whether I sent the message to reschedule on the Sunday or Monday she would have still received it at the same time on Monday. I made it clear and remaining completely polite, that I was not fighting about her policies. I was just merely trying to explain that there was no way I could have asked 24 hours in advance to reschedule as it was a Sunday. Not sure if this woman just woke up on the wrong side of the bed or she simply is just really arrogant and rude, but she responded blowing everything I said out of proportion. She called me a **** because I said that I only heard this morning about my work obligation. I never intended to msg her on Sunday as at that point I did not know about it, but the point I was trying to get across to her was that it did not make sense to send her a msg on Sunday had I known then when she would have only read it on the Monday anyway. Despite me being completely polite, she called me rude and she does not like the way I communicate and further went on to tell me that she will cancel my appointment with no penalty but I must never use any of their services or facility again because they operate with respect and honesty. She definitely does not operate with respect! So dramatic for absolutely nothing! I cannot believe that someone can speak to a customer in that manner! She would rather have lost out on my business all because she was having a blue Monday! Nowhere was I being rude in the least but because she knows what I said was true, it offended her like hell so she turned it into me being rude! She obviously does not do well with being proven wrong. She acts so nice calling you darling but she is a rude and arrogant person who does not want to understand! I am more than happy to give my money to another business because I don't know many other businesses that treat people the way she does. Or maybe it because I am of a different color than her regular clients! She says it is a loss of business to her, yet, again, even if I sent the message on Sunday, she still would not have managed to fill that spot with another client. Some people, like this woman just loves being difficult for absolutely no reason! She hated that I made a valid point so she threw her toys out of the cot. So pathetic! I am happy to never have to ever use her services or have another encounter with such a bad-mannered and disrespectful person like her again. I do not recommend this business at all, most especially if you are a person of color!
