Handed in my lawnmover at Legends in De Villa Bois, Moreletapark, on 24 July 2024. I was asked to sign a quotation to the amount of over R4400. Yesterday 16 August I went to collect. To my surprise, the final bill was just under R5200. " they had to replace the bottom blade and sharpen the roller." I was never informed or contacted about this. Yesterday I was told to pay in full or you don't get your mover. I was also charged R75 for petrol, which is 3.3 lt at the currant petrol price of 22.71/lt. Today, after just 2 minutes, the fuel tank was dry, empty... After replenishing the fuel, the engine runs for 10 seconds, then dies... How long was the mover tested to use 3lt of petrol? Or how thirsty is this brand new engin? Or was I cheated? I will NEVER recommend or use these people again. The lady owner is rude and disrespectfully and in my opinion dishonest.

Lawnmower Legends in Moreleta park has the worst service imaginable.. Been waiting 2 months for them to fix a new lawnmower under guarantee. Not phoned us once to respond or try to solve the matter. This is going to definetly teach them a lesson in customer service. Send them a final letter of demand and STILL no response. This matter is definetly not going to be left and in process of instituting civil claim for damages again at this company. So a small R500 problem is going to become a R20000 problem for them. I hope no other consumer has to go through this..

Bought a new lawnmower from this company on 21 November 2021 andpaid R7900 cash. Cut our lawn on our propert twice and lawnmower broke. Took it in to repair under warranty on 22 February 2022. It has been 2 months now and still not fixed. Staff keep making empty promises and they have not phoned us back once to update or inform us what is going on. Management is non existent. Absolutely the worst and most pathetic service i have ever experienced..

Bought a new lawnmower from this company on 21 November 2021 andpaid R7900 cash. Cut our lawn on our propert twice and lawnmower broke. Took it in to repair under warranty on 22 February 2022. Absolutely horrible service. My lawnmower was delivered to them on 16 January for repairs. 11 days later... still no feedback. When I phoned, they first told me that I have the wrong place. That they dont have my lawnmower and I should try the other place down the street. Then they eventually found my lawnmower. Said they will phone me back. Later that same day... I phoned again... again they said they will phone me back. (Probably buying some time) Yesterday(the next day) I phoned and again was told that they will phone me back... I phoned this morning saying that I am coming to pick up my lawnmower to take it somewhere else for repairs as it has been 2 weeks... again was told that they will have it ready for me but will phone me back. They actually contacted me back saying that the motor of the lawnmower burned out. And noe I have to pay R300 for a “quote fee” because they had to take it apart. Obviously they were playing with time as nothing was done for 2 weeks. Now I have to pay them before they will release my lawnmower. So disappointed . Not leaving it here.
