Lazboy give you a pamphlet when you purchase a R11 000 Norman Recliner. I purchased 2 on 28/11/2017. This pamphlet has states "10 Year Limited Warranty" on the front cover. Now start reading the actual Warranty. 24 months on all parts including repairs and labor. After 24 months 7 to 10 years on parts, labor costs excluded. The very reputable furniture store, Brands Furniture in East London, from who I purchased 2 Recliners has been sold and is no longer in business. The new owners want nothing to do with my problem, collapsed springs in the seat. The contract information given in pamphlet is outdated. I have contacted Lazboy agents in Cape Town who claim that the warranty period is 24 months full stop. All repairs, parts and labor are for my account. The manager of manufacturers of Lazboy in Mombela will not return my call.

If i could give zero stars I would. I bought a lounge suite proudly branded by Lazy Boy from FURNITURE VIBE in Centurion. Genuine leather top of the range for the price of a small car. Within the first 3 weeks my one recliner couch broke that was November 2023 we are at June 2024 and there has not been a resolution. I have placed a query with Furniture Vibe no satisfactory solutions i have lodged a complaint with BRAVO BRANDS no response except for an e mail acknowledging my problem. I trusted the brand LAZY BOY but would have rather used my money to buy a small car it would have given me the same trouble.

I bought 2 leather upholstered recliner chairs at Tafelberg Meubileerders some 3 years ago. About 6 months ago the lever to activate the foot rest broke on one if the chairs. I Googled to find replacement parts. I arrived on the website of Lazyboy and e mailed Simone Johnson in April to request to buy the broken part. She said it will be available mid May. Again I contacyed them and still haven't got it. Today the other one of my recliners broke the same part. It seems that it is a design fault on the chairs and customers should be made aware of this
