I bought my fiance a Leatherman Rebar for Christmas 2020. A week after having it, it was fully rusted. We took it back to the store (Cape Union Mart) and they gave us the display one which has already been out of packaging for a while and didn't show any signs of rust. Then, a month later, the tip of the flat ***** driver broke off while loosening a *****. So I take it back to the store again and today I receive a call saying I have to PAY for the tool to be replaced!! How the hell is that service??? I'll tell you that it's **** service! Where the hell does the so called 25 warranty come in when you don't even want to replace your own faulty product?? So apparently this is a new thing that they charge a few which to me, says that they clearly get a lot Leathermans with broken tools and now they want to make even more money off it, even though it's their own faulty product! Somewhere along the line Leatherman compromised A LOT on their quality and are now using a bunch of **** materials to save on costs but make way more money. So sad that you are now manufacturing such a **** product! So you can refund me in full and throw that piece of **** in the bin along with your ridiculous quotation!
