Highly ********* Tactics at BMW Rustenburg (Legacy Auto):
Warning to future buyers: A signed OTP means nothing to this dealership. I signed an OTP for a motorcycle, supp**** all documents and had finance approved by their own F&I Manager. This after being dragged along for a week bring assured on more than one occasion that the bike was available for me when my finance gets approved.
Then, 10 minutes before release, they phone me with the news that they sold the bike to a different buyer.
They used my finance application as a backup plan, and then breached our good faith agreement the moment cash appeared. This 'Used Car Lot' behaviour from a premium BMW franchise is disgusting and shameful.

16 Feb 2026, 12:53EDIT: The DP phoned me and explained to me that, even BEFORE I signed the OTP, they already had a buyer who had paid a holding deposit on the bike. It baffles me how a dealership can neglect to mention this to a prospective buyer and proceed to waste their time with a finance application on a bike secured to a third party by way of a holding deposit.
