Debt counselling not following up on creditors
I am under debit counselling with Legal Debt Solution. I was retrenched 2019 during covid it took me the whole year to find a job and my only way was to hand myself over to debt counselling On the 30th FNB did an adjustment on my overdraft due to none payment. I have been paying LDS every month so they can pay all my creditors. However the funds were being transferred to FNB with the wrong reference. Now i m paying the price ,my account was adjusted to 0.00 balance on the eve of my debit order going through and my salary was also taken. Now i don't even have money to even go to work. When I call FNB , i get told i must speak to the debt counselors. When i call the debt counselors i m told they waiting for FNB and today was actually the worst i called debt LDS only to be told that i must not be angry at them because they are doing all they can to assist me. Adriana from the LDS shouldn't be at reception. She is very rude. I understand that it might be not LDS's fault or FNB's fault but , come on from the 30th of June still trying to get answers. Cut me some slacks i m only human surely i m allowed to get angry. I have heard people complaining about debt counselling now i know what they mean. If you can negotiate with your creditors and deal with them direct otherwise you will find yourself in my position and trust me its not nice. My funeral cover , some of the things i m paying still everything bounced and i get told i must not be angry.

Bad Service
I decided to go on Debt Review in 2021 because my finances were not looking good and I wanted to close all debt. I have been able to reduce them and closed two clothing accounts, that's about the good news. I have had endless issues ever since inception, my accounts handed over by creditors, my car almost getting repossessed and all this time I'm under Debt Review. Legal & Debt Solution has come really short here, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. ABSA credit card payments were missed three times, and they are refusing to re-instate the account, and this debt reviewer says I must deal with it. This has caused nothing but issues for me, and I get is "I understand sir, I understand..." I have a sent a number of Whatsapp messages to their Debt Counselor and only to be referred to the their useless consultant who says the lines " I understand...." I have had it! I have been patient for so long with these people, its a lot.

Zithobeni was very helpful, she explained all the processes and steps to be followed and was also non judgemental. I give her 10/10 as she’s very knowledgeable and was able to explain everything to me in simple terms.
