I was defamed by the group admin
A random notification popped up on my Facebook page where people where asking about the costs of a notary. I am not a notary and get no kick backs for any referrals to notaries. I just commented by giving the estimated pricing and I said the person can inbox me I can help them find one in their area. The group admin immediately posted a rather rude message about not inboxing - surely she can understand that one can not be expected to read the rules every time a random notification pops up from a group. I then messaged on the wall to say sorry any attorney is also a notary and I just mentioned the one I know. She then openly defamed me on Facebook saying that I clearly don’t know how to read when once again by the very nature of social media one can’t be expected to be treated in such a manner. If the group has such strict rules the rules should pop up every time they send out a notification. I messaged her to ask her to remove my tag and if she is unable to do so to notify me so that I can inform Facebook. I feel utterly humiliated and I feel that should I not receive an apology from the administrator as she could’ve handled it in a much more diplomatic manner where I would’ve apologized rather then humiliate me and if the posts mentioning my name are not taken down I’ll have no option but to take the matter further as it is dangerous for a social media group to behave in the manner they have done.
