Legendary barber
Based on recent customer reviews, Legendary Barber generates sharply divided feedback across its branches. Satisfied customers consistently mention friendly receptionists, quick walk-in service, and consistently good haircuts at locations like Gateway Mall, Gordon Road, and Workshop. However, a recurring theme is poor staff attitude, particularly at Mall of the North, Greenacres, Menlyn, Witbank Saveways, and Greenacres, where customers describe being ignored, receiving substandard cuts, and encountering unresponsive online order support. Queueing systems, promotional honouring, and management courtesy are areas where customer trust appears strained.

On Thursday, 16/04/2026, at 16:40, after work I quickly rushed to Legendary Barber at Greenacres Shopping Centre. This time, I invited my big sister to do her hair there as well. When we arrived, we were welcomed by young, energetic gentlemen who were respectful and friendly. We both wanted to bleach, dye, and do our edges. However, we were told that they had run out of the Passion Plum dye we wanted. They asked us to wait a little while, as they were expecting the receptionist, who has access to the till or petty cash, to arrive so they could purchase the dye. In less than five minutes, we saw an African woman walk in. She did not greet us and had a dismissive attitude. One of the staff members explained what we wanted, but she refused to give them money to buy the dye. Instead, she told them to ask us to come back the following day. She then walked out again with the same attitude. She did not consider our time or the fuel we used to get there. Her behaviour came across as arrogant and rude.

I bought a Shampoo and a hair foam online from the company's website. Upon delivery I realized that they have sent me a wrong order. Instead of the shampoo and the hair foam that I've ordered, I received a hair brush, a wave builder and a black powder. I then immediately alerted the company via the email address that appeared in their confirmation email after placing my order, but I received no response. Two days passed and I tried to follow up with a phone call but their number was not going through. A few days later I tried their enquiries email address and up to so far, there's still no response. I'm very disappointed at how easy it is to place an order on their website, yet once they have your money and you need to contact them to address a problem, they're impossible to reach and they simply don't respond.
