Liebenberg cannot tell you what upgrades are done to vechicles they sell
We just bought a 4x4 bakkie from Liebenberg Auto. Everything went smoothly up until trying to insure the vehicle - we are now grossly under-insured due to Liebenberg being unable to provide me with a list of upgrades to the vehicle, so now we have to waste our time trying to find out from the manufacturer what is an upgrade and what comes standard with the vehicle - a huge mission and nightmare! So for now, the vehicle is insured for almost R100,000 less than what we paid for it, because that is apparently the base value! I am not at all happy, and I don't see how a professional dealership can NOT be able to tell me what has been upgraded on the vehicle, considering they added those upgrades to the vehicle selling price! Seems to me they just cannot be bothered to assist once they have your money. I am not at all happy!

11 Apr 2022, 08:27Sorry Vanessa . We don't do conversions on the cars we sell We maintain the cars according to the roadworthy act Sorry there is nothing to declare regarding upgrades!
Our cars is standard and we don't do upgrades only roadworthy relevant items and faults on the car Almost all our cars have a Decra report and we do repair ,if that is what u mean!

11 Apr 2022, 08:38From what I understand your insurance wants a list of extras on the car which u need to declare to the insurance.Anyone can give the list of accessories on your car but my salesman will send it to u also The car has a lot of accessory as u can see like the replacement bumper,Snorkel, Replacement rails on roof and cattle rails lift suspension running board and a lot more this is why the retail and purchase price on a Toyota will never be in line.
