I took my TV to Liptronics in Parrow for a fix as it a was non- responsive, I was quoted R3200, I paid in full, I was then contacted to come collect the TV after a week or so. I collected the TV on Monday 11/08, they tested it and it seemed to be working fine at the shop, however when I plugged it for the first time on Wednesday 13/08/2025 at my house, the TV had lines on the screen, I contacted Liptronics and sent pictures via email, they said there's an impact and I would have to be requoted again.
They're basically implying that I must have done something on the TV and they're not taking accountability for anything. The TV has no visible physical damage, I don't understand how this can be decided based on a picture I sent. This is really frustrating and heartbreaking considering that I have paid such a huge amount for the TV to be fixed by a so called reputable repair center, in hopes that I will get the best service and care but instead I feel like I am being ****med!
For a Samsung recommended repair center, this has been handled so poorly, It's quite disappointing!
