I took my TV to Liptronics in Parrow for a fix as it a was non- responsive, I was quoted R3200, I paid in full, I was then contacted to come collect the TV after a week or so. I collected the TV on Monday 11/08, they tested it and it seemed to be working fine at the shop, however when I plugged it for the first time on Wednesday 13/08/2025 at my house, the TV had lines on the screen, I contacted Liptronics and sent pictures via email, they said there's an impact and I would have to be requoted again. They're basically implying that I must have done something on the TV and they're not taking accountability for anything. The TV has no visible physical damage, I don't understand how this can be decided based on a picture I sent. This is really frustrating and heartbreaking considering that I have paid such a huge amount for the TV to be fixed by a so called reputable repair center, in hopes that I will get the best service and care but instead I feel like I am being ****med! For a Samsung recommended repair center, this has been handled so poorly, It's quite disappointing!
I have 2 loans with standard bank and I lost my job earlier this year. I called Standard bank to let them know, as it is my understanding that my loans have an insurance benefit to cover for such cases. I was told to submit documents confirming that my contract ended so it can be forwarded to the insurance department. I did as required, and 10 thousand was paid towards each loan. I was also told that my premiums will be on hold for a year, as the insurance payout covered these premiums. Therefore I would have to resume with my loan repayment in March 2025. To my surprise, I have been getting smses and emails that my loan accounts are in arrears and that I will be handed over, I ignored this thinking that it is an error on their system, until I got a call from the lawyers this morning. I explained the same thing to the lawyer and she confirmed that she can actually see the payment of 10K from standard insurance dpmnt on one account. I am actually ****ed that I am being harrassed liked this when my loans were supposedly taken care of for the year. I don't understand what kind of shady business Standard is playing at I am really really ****ed!!!!!!!!!!! Now the lawyers are asking me to send proof that standard bank acknowledged my insurance claim and made a payout, when she herself confirmed that its there on the account she can see it, MAKE IT MAKE SENSE?????? ***!!!! At some point after the insurance payments towards the loans were done, standard debited my UIF money!!!!! UIF MONEY! that is suppose to help sustain me and my kids while i am still unemployed!!! I called and told them to reverse it, I don't know if these standard bank departments don't communicate or what the **** is going on there!! They eventually refunded my UIF money after 7 days. It's just been a nightmare dealing with standard bank since I lost my job!!!! Even my credit card installment is still being debited till this day, even though I supposedly have insurance with these people.
I returned my Power Inverter as it was faulty to the Zevenwatch Computer Mania store on the 1st of October and they said they would send it to the manufacturer which will take 10 days. It's been more than 3 weeks and I've been to the store 3 times to follow up, and on all occasions I have been told there is no feedback yet. I am quite frustrated as I rely on this device for work purposes, the people at the store don't seem to care at all, they keep saying they'll follow up and update me and I never hear from them! My inverter is still with the manufacture who hasn't fixed after 3 weeks of being returned.
I paid my African Bank account on the 29th of January 2023, through the collections company called NRB Risk Solutions. I paid the account in full a per the agreed settlement discount. NRB Risk Solutions told me that it will take 21 days for account to be updated and reflect that I ower zero balance. They have also assured me that they have sent proof of payment to African Bank to update their records. It's incredibly frustrating that till to date, I am being harrased by debt collectors from African Bank for an outsanding account, 2 weeks ago I went to the branch and they informed that the account still has an outstanding amount of 8K, the lady from the branch connected me to Head Office, and I spoke to someone who assured me that the account will be cleared in 5 days as she can see payment from NRB solution. THIS DID NOT HAPPENED! I WAS CALLED AGAIN YESTERDAY BY DEBT COLLECTORS!!!!!!!!!! I'm really angry and frustrated, I feel like I have been ****med by both these companies, my credit score could have improved by now, but i am being held up for something that I settled 3 months ago! Poor disgusting service!!!
