I briefed Lit Creations to design a logo for me and was very clear on what I wanted. Corporate look, with two already chosen colors.

They took long to revert back with the work and when they did I was shocked at the shoddy and poor quality of work and execution on the brief with wrong colors and a very colorful and busy picture that they called a logo.I had to get another designer to start the job afresh and he got it right the first time around.

lit Creations were adamant they will charge me for the colorful arty picture that resembled a pre school picture they created as a logo because that is what I wanted. Like they can now read my mind instead of reading the brief.

I had had specifically requested navy blue nd gold clean corporate logo, they sent me their pre school drawing of yellows and all colors of the rainbow claiming that is gold. Like seriously now, was just so so so disappointed with this daylight robbery.

would warm other people to not even bother with engaging their services .

I've worked with LIT Creations for a few years now and recently we updated and revamped my children's MG adventure series website [URL Removed] I am over the moon about how fantastic and intriguing it looks for young readers. LIT has a wonderful team and Leigh-Anne really listens to her clients and makes their ideas into a fabulous reality! I highly recommend their creative genius.
Hello

Just want to warn any potential candidates applying for a job at this company ( LIT Creations ). A recruitment agency referred me to this opening. I got a practical assessment from them to do a fictitious company website and upon completion to upload the files ( PSD and all website related files ) to one of their domains. This arose my suspicion as I already had a very complete portfolio of websites from which they could see my technical skills.

I started searching for this 'fictitious' company and found its website which stated that it was under construction. I phone the 'fictitious' company and they told me LIT Creations is building them a new website.

This is very unethical behavior by a company ( LIT Creations ) giving potential candidates their work as practical assessments with no guarantee of employment. I am glad I did not submit my practical assessment as they could have easily used it for the client.

I strongly warn any designer or developer against this company's unethical behavior.

I engaged LIT Creations to build a website for my start-up business. Initially they were full of promises and nothing was beyond their capability. I gave them a full map of what we needed the site to do and a few examples of websites that had the look and feel we were aiming for. It took almost three weeks to get the first screenshot which was really poor quality and nothing like any of the examples I had provided. Jamie was very curt when receiving my feedback and then provided almost exactly the same screenshot for the second version which took another two weeks and this despite providing sketches of how to layout the site this time. I then cancelled the instruction which resulted in a R4k cancellation fee. This included email set up and hosting but the two website screenshots were more than R3k of the cancellation. I challenged this which was rejected out of hand. LIT took no responsibility for the fact that they had failed to deliver and had misrepresented their capability. Fine for basic static and plain pages but don't expect any customer experience. Bad experience and bad attitude from all concerned.

I pd a deposit to LIT Creations to create a corporate identity for me.I did however already have an existing logo but I wanted to add two words to the logo.LIT quoted me R7460 for Website design, email signatures etc.The amendment of the logo was not priced as they would not need to DESIGN the logo from scratch.
1st thing to do was to amend the logo.Jamie sent me a sample of the amended logo.I wasn't happy with it because the words were small and wouldn't be visible on small items like a bus.card.I sent an email explaining this, she did a 2nd version, which was almost identical to the first. I called & explained.I requested that the process be sped up, as this had taken 3 weeks at this point. He response was curt, implying that I should be mindful of the fact that they did not charge me for the logo. the 3rd version came back no different after an 11 day wait.At this point I requested a full refund of my R4788 deposit. Jamie indicated that I would get a partial deposit because of the design work completed. I wrote them, with reasons, saying I would not accept a partial deposit because they had done nothing for me.They gave me a partial refund anyway and refuse to engage me further
