On Friday, September 19th, we excitedly moved into our new home, a luxury apartment in this estate. The pre-occupation service we received from the agent was excellent. However, our excitement about moving into the apartment quickly turned to disappointment. As we prepared to spend our first night there, we discovered ****roaches in every room. As they crawled out and swarmed the space, our hearts sank. It was truly a horror. ****roaches are a disgusting health hazard, and my two-and-a-half-year-old was in tears, scared by the sight. I spent the night taking pictures and videos, which I later shared with the agent. On Saturday, September 20th, the agent responded in the morning, assuring us that the situation would be addressed immediately and that fumigation services would be dispatched. Later that day, the agent informed us that they would provide a repellent spray on Monday. We expressed our concerns, as the problem was acute and needed immediate attention. This left us with two more nights of trying to sleep in the ****roach-infested apartment, as the maintenance team would not be available until Monday morning. After three sleepless nights filled with stress and fatigue, Monday morning arrived without any updates until around 1:30 PM, when we decided to cancel the lease and ask about the notice process. We were shocked to see everyone passing the blame and no one taking accountability. We were informed that if we canceled, we would lose the money we had already paid for the month of October. Additionally, we learned that the repayment process would take 21 days, despite the circumstances that led us to cancel the lease. A fumigation company arrived on Monday evening and treated the apartment. They cautioned us that the problem would worsen for a week before it improved. The complex offered us the option to move to another apartment, but we declined, feeling that the entire process had been poorly managed and our trust had been broken. We felt like a cash ***, more of a financial transaction than valued customers whose concerns mattered. We moved out the following day, Tuesday, and are still waiting patiently for the repayment of the deposit and rental fees we paid, minus their costs for drafting the lease and the days we spent in the ****roach-infested apartment. It has been a hellish experience and a costly ordeal.
On the 22nd of July I bought a BMW at We Buy Cars JHB South Branch. The car had been moved from a green sticker to a gold sticker because of a broken fog light which i was told was fixed. The sales agent kept insisting I buy the warranty for the car. This sounded like a red flag nonetheless on collection I included the warranty. I collected the car and parked it at home in the garage. To my surprise and disgust when the tracker guys came to fit the tracker there was a pool of oil underneath the car. The car sold as a gold sticker car is leaking oil. I informed the sales agent and he told me the procedure is to log a concern via the website and wait for a call centre agent to call me to advise to take the car to crm as it has a warranty. Now the warranty story makes sense. But why should I be running up and down talking to call.centre agents hardly a week after buying the car and spending R200k. This is disappointing. I advised the agent I will bring back the car and he said I am not allowed to. I am disgusted and shocked as We Buy Cars should provide customer service or take back their faulty car and provide a full refund. This is going to be a lengthy legal battle that I will.pursue till the end. It's disgustingly ************ to sell faulty cars claiming they have no issues and with gold stickers.
Absolutely disgusted and shocked at the ************ behaviour of this agency . A complete *******. My worst experience ever with an agent. Lies Lies Lies and more lies. I secured an apartment to rent for the 1st of September 2024 in Greenstone hill. The agent promised that the apartment would be ready for occupation on the 31st of August and that it will be cleaned, defects fixed . On the 4th of September when I went to collect the keys, I found the place in a complete state of disrepair, dirty bathroom walls , broken stove, holes on walls (that were allegedly painted),lose cupboards and lose cabling and broken trunking as well as dirty cupboards. To say I was disappointed and disgusted is an under statement. Now they are refusing to pay the refund of the deposit and first months rental. Today is the 5th of September and these ************ agents see nothing wrong with taking money for an unoccupied unit . No shame. Just Greed and ******ion. Now the agent Candy Battiss keeps claiming their meeting with the owner and the principal agent. Today she promised to revert after a meeting at 11h00. Thereafter she said its they are entitled to more time to respond and will revert Monday close of business. I wonder revert in what as all I need is my refund. As if suffering from dementia she then contradicted herself and requested permission to go to the apartment whose keys I had already given back and she had accepted the keys. Why ask for permission to go to the house from the person you have taken their money and failed to deliver a habitable apartment. Today is the 5th and still she sees no problem with keeping money for a property she has not delivered. Sies.
I bought a fridge freezer at OK Furniture in Eswatini mid August 2023. I used it twice and the third time I switched it on in December on the 23rd it did not work. I reported this mishap to the salesman expecting after sales customer support. To my horror he flatly refused to attend to the matter saying he will send a technician to fix the freezer after the Christmas holidays. This after all the meat bought for Christmas was spoilt. I demanded a refund and the shop refused and eventually their parent company Shoprite Group sent me a ("threatening and intimidating") legal letter with wrong dates and sequence of events telling me to fetch the fixed freezer within 20 days or they sell it. Like seriously which company disregards a consumer's rights with such patronising arrogance. Through my lawyer I have for the up-teenth time told them I would not want to deal with them again and all I need is a refund.

<p>I briefed Lit Creations to design a logo for me and was very clear on what I wanted. Corporate look, with two already chosen colors.</p> <p> </p> <p>They took long to revert back with the work and when they did I was shocked at the shoddy and poor quality of work and execution on the brief with wrong colors and a very colorful and busy picture that they called a logo.I had to get another designer to start the job afresh and he got it right the first time around.</p> <p> </p> <p>lit Creations were adamant they will charge me for the colorful arty picture that resembled a pre school picture they created as a logo because that is what I wanted. Like they can now read my mind instead of reading the brief. </p> <p> </p> <p>I had had specifically requested navy blue nd gold clean corporate logo, they sent me their pre school drawing of yellows and all colors of the rainbow claiming that is gold. Like seriously now, was just so so so disappointed with this daylight robbery.</p> <p> </p> <p>would warm other people to not even bother with engaging their services .</p>
