I am extremely disappointed with the service I’ve received. I submitted all the required documentation for my mother's UIF claim, who is on retirement, and despite months of follow-ups and repeated assurances, the matter remains unresolved.
After paying a service fee with the understanding that the process would be handled on our behalf, we were eventually told to contact UIF directly to proceed with the claim. This is unacceptable — it feels as though the company is taking advantage of people in vulnerable situations, collecting fees and then abandoning clients to manage the process themselves.
It has now been over a year of frustration and delays, with no meaningful resolution or accountability.
