I rented a property with Eldu properties in 2021, in the Middle of that lease agreement Living Link Realty took over. At the end my lease this year I decided not to renew due to high cost of electricity. Upon Vacating the apartment i was advise the to paint the whole apartment as the landlord wanted the place to its original state. Even though I didn't quite agree with this, knowing thst I had kept the place clean I agreed. I must add that as I should i also sent someone to clean the apartment. To prove how we'll I kept the place the agent even wrote a beautiful recommendation for me to another agent which I'm willing to share, now they have decided to keep over 7k deposit for non existent damages. I find this conduct cruel and abusive ss a tenant.

I found a place to rent on the property website, I contact Living link Realty Rayton office where Butch told me we can rent it, he will talk to owner to bring price down. This was a fast move for us to get a place within a week coz the others were rented out. We filled in the paperwork that ask our whole life including bank details, childrens age, school, car with registration (I never gave so many details to any agency) we've been informed everything is in order, his wifes going to do checkup but all is in order. A few days before we need to move in I get a voice message on WhatsApp to inform me that we can't rent the place, owner don't want to budge. (Thanks to help not from them we got a place). When we're settled after a week we visited 16 or 19 Pine street and there were people living there, while we passed we can see their not new tenants. (The ad were placed at a cafe in Cullinan as well) These agents are ****mers, want all your details. They know how I feel about them, even report them to agency where ad was. Please be aware of them. I'm still furious while I torn up contract

In the process of looking to buy a property, I made the mistake of contacting a certain estate agent from Living Link Realty in Pretoria. After providing extremely specific requirements for a property, said agent kept bombarding me with e-mail after e-mail of propertly listings from other areas.

I kept replying asking two things:

1. Not to send listings that are in areas other than those specified.

2. Not to send listing that did not meet general requirements.

3. Not to include my e-mail address on large, public (cc) e-mail address lists when sending out these e-mails.

These requests were neither acknowledged, nor influence the steady flow of unwanted listings.

After no longer being in the market for a property, I indicated as much as a reponse to the next inappropriate e-mail, and yet again expressed my frustration. I received a snooty reponse noting that the e-mails were *just* sent as a courtesy, that there is no 'list', and that I will be bothered no longer. Alas, these mails have now continued.

If you value an estate agent that is able to follow simple instructions, steer clear.
