Bad Experience
<p>Mid November 2016 I contacted Log - Tec to arrange for the transportation of my Samsung Combi fridge (fridge value R6500).I had informed Eben (owner) that the fridge should be stored at his premises until I send him the address as I had to relocate for work purposes, and I would only get the final address details later. Log - Tec had my mobile number for any further information needed at any time. In January 2017 I contacted Eben and informed him that I would like to cancel the transportation but storage would be paid for from mid November 2016 to Jan 2017 as someone in Cpt had agreed to buy the fridge by paying cash. Eben asked me to please sell the fridge to him and not the other party, as he would pay me cash for it. The other person had agreed to pay R6500 for the fridge but I decided to reduce the price to R4000 for Eben, compensating for storage from mid November 2016 to Jan 2017.At the time I was convinced that I had no need for concern and I would be paid for my fridge. After many calls since then until now 12 April 2017, I have only received a lousy R500.During all my many calls I was always informed by him that he will make the deposit on the day and would call me later, which he never did. I was extremely patient over the past months. The company trucks run daily which requires money to do so, yet I was told there is no money available to pay me. I have now learnt to deal with people and companies whose actions speak louder than words.</p>

Do not use this company for any transport
I decided to use this company after a discount was provided. Still this company was 1 of about 4 competing for my move from Krugersdorp to Margate.<br> <br> The move was shifted to 1 Oct 2015 as they were going to offload either the afternoon of 30 Sep or early the morning of 1 Oct in Pretoria. To my surprise there was an issue with the people who they were moving, or so they say. The truck had to load at 2 properties, and only arrived at the first property on 1 Oct at 7pm. After taking 3 hours to load a 1 bed cottage, I decided to that they should only load my house the morning of 2 Oct. The guys arrived at 6:30, to only finish loading at 4:50pm. That is 10 hours to load. This after I told the driver that the truck must be in Margate by 8am the next morning as I am starting work the Monday. I only have the Sat and Sun to get the house ready.<br> <br> On 3 Oct I was informed the driver is sick. The truck arrived in Margate at 9pm. I then already had to pay for 3 people to sleep in a guest house, and me and the mrs will sleep on a blanket at the house. The offloading only happened on 4 Oct, again after issues.<br> <br> This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Highway Robbers!!
These guys are highway robbers. i had Afriworld removals quoting me on relocating my furniture from Harties to Plett. Log-Tec was sub-contracted to do the removal. Dealing with Eben was very frustrating and painful.<br> When the truck finally arrived - after many frustrating phone conversations with Afriworld (Gerhard) and Log-Tec (Eben) - it was 21:00 and I had to cancel my flight that left at 19:00.<br> When the truck finally left in the early hours of the next morning I received a SMS from Eben stating i had more furniture that quoted for and had to pay an additional R18 000 plus he offloaded my furniture somewhere in Jo'burg and i had to pay extra for handling and storage. I was threatened that my furniture would be sold if i don't pay the money in full, basically, i was held at ransom.<br> When my furniture finally arrived, there were a lot of damage.<br> I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE GUYS OR AFRIWORLD TO DO ANY REMOVAL

Excellent Customer Service
Log-Tech was one of the companies who send a quote to handle my relocation from Northern Cape back to Western Cape. Their quote was one of the best and I decided to check them out on hellopeter and saw all the bad feedback. I didn't bother to reply but Eben phoned me a couple of days later to ask if I received the quote. Well, I was frank and explained that I did a background check and saw the replies on hellopeter. Eben explained what was the reason back then and promised that his company will do my move painless. I decided to go with his quote and I was constantly checking on progress.(So I think I became the pain in the butt:)) Eben was patient with me and never once did not reply on any mail or phone call. He arrived on the exact date as promised and I can now say my furniture was delivered this morning at my new address(as promised).<br> <br> His team was professional, very friendly and handled every piece of furniture or box with utmost care.<br> <br> Well done guys and thanks for excellent customer service and customer care and looking after my stuff as if was your own. Not one thing got damaged over the 1000 km travel distance.<br> <br> I will definitely recommend Log-Tec for Furniture removal.
