Absolutely pathetic after sales customer service. If it was allowed it would have 0 star. Two of my LV sandals tore. I escalated it via numerous emails and the UK office responds stating they advised the South African branch to liaise with me. Over six weeks later and I still do not have a response or resolution. For a so called "luxury brand" they really don't know the first thing about customer service. There's just no accountability.

Disaster in quality. The wax of the edge melt by itself even the handbags are not been used since I bought them for my wife. I bought a lot of handbags from LV many years ago. My wife do not use them, just left in cupboard with the dust bag on. As we prepare to move back to Taiwan, she took them out to check. Eight handbags black/brown/red lining of the LV bags has melted and become sticky. The dissolved lining material leave stain on the handbags. She took it to Louis Vuitton Sandton to request repairs. Louis Vuitton send them to France and give us a quotation to fix. My complaint is, this defects are due to the quality of the material, the wax they use for lining melt by itself under storage. (It happened once, 8 years ago, they fix it with no charge. At that year, they call back all the defect handbags to fix for no charge. The wax they used for lining during 2015-2017 was mis-formula. This was a world known mistake. LV call back all the defect handbags to repair. We were the one also. 15 handbags at that time back for repairing). My wife wants to know why a world known brand Louis Vuitton does not take up their responsibility of quality control of the materials they used. My wife also wants to let people knows World Band like Louis Vuitton leave their royal customer in this way.

Louis Vuitton Sandton has given me the worst after sales experience of my life. I escalated my complaint twice to LV Head Office,no resolution. This seems to be why Alisha, the Sandton store manager, feels entitled to ghost clients. For a so-called “premium” brand this level of disrespect is shocking. LV clearly does not care about its clients and the experience is nothing short of disgraceful.

Theft and lack of accountability from their staff, truly disappointed. My husband purchased a gift from store, after multiple reports to the store about a missing item, they all claim to be unaware of this incident and will investigate. The SA that made the sale has since resigned, the store manager promised to contact me, and she hasn’t. I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent experience at LV Sandton. I have always been a loyal customer of Louis Vuitton, but the behavior of the store director - Zois Glenis during my visit on the 10th September 2024 was deeply concerning and unprofessional. He stormed out of the office coming to talk to us like he is going on strike. On top of that he was noticeably rude, impatient, and dismissive when approached with a few questions regarding the product I purchased. Rather than addressing my concerns, he displayed an unacceptable attitude, showing clear signs of frustration and impatience. The situation escalated when the he abruptly stormed out of the conversation without any explanation or attempt to resolve the matter, leaving us bewildered and dissatisfied. As a luxury brand, I expect Louis Vuitton to uphold a high standard of customer service. Unfortunately, my experience was far from that standard. I hope that appropriate action will be taken to address this behavior and prevent it from happening to other customers in the future. HE MUST PRACTICE PROFESSIONILISM SO THAT HIS SUBSORDINATES CAN LEARN FROM HIM< BEHAVING IN THAT MANNER JUST SHOWS THAT ITS OKAY FOR THE LV STAFF TO BE UNPROFESSIONAL IF THEY ARE LEARNING IT FROM THEIR BOSS.

You need to realize you are dealing with Clients that can purchase the entire shop. But QUEENS like Mpho would READ and don't have the decency to reply. Maybe he earns R300k a month I don't know. The entire Diamond Walk is talking about the SH*T attitudes. Unfortunately they are my most comfortable sneakers above Tom Ford, Balenciaga or Balmain. TEACH YOUR STAFF MANNERS

An entry level bag at 40K, an item of clothing probably another 30K. With such high prices and a luxurious brand you would expect the level of service to be equivalent to the pricing. Unfortunately it’s not… don’t frustrate yourself with this mediocre service. The attitude here seems to be we are 1 of 2 branches in SA so accept the pathetic service as we don’t actually value you as a loyal customer. Rather go spend your money at another luxury brand.

Only at Louis Vuitton in SA will you need to stand in a queue even if it’s just to drop off a suitcase for fixing! Maybe they don’t need the business but someone should let them know that their customer service sucks and at the end of the day they are just another department store that needs customers!
