A new kid on the block. No vibe since there were only three tables occupied. In all fairness, it was a Sunday night in the Hood and the other places on Eden On The Bay were not exactly buzzing either.
The staff was amazing to the point of the barman making us Don Pedro’s which are NOT on the menu. They closed doors when we got cold and turned down the music volume. Very accommodating.
Since this is a Louisiana eatery we all ordered Seafood Gumbo. OMG! So good. Very generous portions. According to my significant other it isn’t the thru New Orleans taste (base too “tomato-y”)but I don’t know better and thought it was awesome.
If you are in the area, support them. New and unusual places need our help and trust me on the gumbo!
