Very disappointing experience for a paying patient There are reviews dating back to 2016 mentioning the same problems, yet nothing changes — aren’t reviews meant to drive improvement? My family was admitted for food poisoning and the emergency ward had no water dispenser. We had to keep asking for water, which was brought in staff members’ personal cups — completely unacceptable for a private hospital. In the wards you’re made to feel like just a number, and the staff attitude needs serious attention. This is not the level of care one expects when paying for private healthcare. I have given this hospital many chances hoping for improvement, but after this visit, it will be my last.

Honestly worst private hospital ever. I was admitted in the mother and child ward and man it was horrible. They take forever to attend you when you have a problem. They offer to make bottles for your baby but take forever to a point where your baby cries of hunger. They pass as if they don't hear the drip machine making noise . I'm never taking my child there again . Beds are uncomfortable, your sheets are never changed, don't ever waste your money

To Sr Anna Rakoma and Sr Priscilla Govender from maternity ward; thank you so much for the wonderful care, professionalism and kindness, my 3 days stay there with my first baby were always pleasant when you were around. Otherwise there isn’t much good to say about some sisters there; they would bring the baby and tea at 5am, 5 min later another sister comes for wound care whilst I haven’t taken a bath yet and they would make me feel so uncomfortable like I have 3 pairs of hands. There’s a day, I think it was day 2 I had to give myself pain meds from the cabinet couz the staff Sr disappeared the whole day. I wouldn’t definitely deliver there again.

My daughter was admitted in 4th floor room 11 the most *********** staff ever, they don't care about the patients, you ring the bell need their help they come at their own time, you ask them something they tell you they are coming back and they don't. My daughter had to be discharged without the device that the doctor ordered because it came late the doctor left already and you get different information and no one takes responsibility they are pointing each other, the worst is that I even complained to the managers, they promised to call me back after investigating and they never did, I don't recommend that hospital to anyone.

I'm utterly disgusted and disappointed of this hospital the paeditrician ward is worse and it's like a public hospital with old blankets and uncomfortable chairs including the staff that doesn't even understand customer care. I can't let my daughter stay in such a disgusting hospital. I'm so disappointed at their toilet there was no soap to wash hands and you had their bells are not working so the patient has to call loud to be assisted

I traveled very +_2hrs to get to this hospital as my child was sick, got referral from pediatric then they first called them to ask if there's a space they confirmed there's a space for my child, get there it's like a public hospital, the arrangements of lot of kids in one room, then they put me in one room that didn't have privacy at all, whatever they do to the baby they bring him to another room and make sure they lock you out so that you dont see, the baby would cry for more than 30min and they wont allow you in, did not sleep since the baby was struggling, morning when the baby catches sleep and i tell myself im gonna try to sleep haw, there's a sound from next room they banging the door with a hammer, the sound is so loud I keep calling the nurses to tell them I can't stand the sound, imagine my baby, it also woke my baby up, they tell me they renovating I have 2 options, be patient or they going to move me to a room for bigger babies not suitable for mine, my baby is connected to drip and oxygen on that room, the bricks are coming out there's dust, 4 times I called nurses they told me to wait, my baby couldn't catch his breath, dust got in him and mind you he's admitted for pneumonia, after they disconnected the coughing baby they let me wait at waiting area with a coughing crying baby who's struggling to breath, I asked to be transferred because they told me they don't have a space for me and my baby, they say they have to discharge me they can't transfer me to another hospital, the only thing I was offered was to be checked if the dust affected me or not, not sympathetic at all about my baby or the fact that I will pay a bill or their own carelessness, out if despite they took me to their casualty dr if i dont want to go i want to stay with my baby they gonna make me sign that i refused to be treated, whilst I'm there they tell me there's no dr they went to x rays, when the dr get there they make me wait saying I need to go do x rays, then they'll release me to my child, mind you from casualty to all this trips I'm making I have to explain that I'm not paying the bill, the hospital does, each trip I have to wait 30min while they confirm, to see that they just want to punish me to complaining about what they caused my baby to experience, they said after xrays ill be cleared but then they keep on adding, they say now I have to take bloods, if I refuse all this and go back to my baby, they will keep me away from my baby if I don't do this, mind you all this time they kept me away from my baby, they not accountable they say its an accident, how do you keep patients in rooms that you scheduled maintenance for, how do you tell reffering drs that you have a space whilst you don't, they just check medical aid if theres money they wont let you go even if theres no bed for you. Mxm IF YOU GO THERE BE PREPARED TO RECEIVE PUBLIC HOSPITAL TREATMENT

My daughter was admitted in the early hours on 2025-03-10 after she had a panic attack and the x rays were done and no one bothered to read us the results and the female Doctor who was working at the casualty just discharged her. My daughter still cough badly and she is asthmatic. The Doctor did not even introduce her name. The two male nurses were the only people who were on duty on that day. The Doctor was very tired. Doctor when you see this review please go on vacation to relax a bit
