Please read this before considering buying a car at Mad cars... There are 5star reviews you read on madcars website that are written by the employees themself. They give each other 5 star reviews and that is why they have a 4.5star rating , but truly it does not even deserve any star. Hanre de Villiers , Dylan Parkin , Jaco Smith , Jason Joubert (manager) They are all employees at madcars giving each other 5 star reviews on this review page. And this is just some of the names. Best of all , the owner of this company sees this and he gives good feedback as well. Pathetic , ******* and ********* If you are thinking about buying a car at this place , just so you know , the day you sign the papers and there is a problem or something you want to query, YOU WILL NOT GET HOLD OF THESE PEOPLE. Hanre de Villiers was the sales person , told me the vehicle got a full service history.when the car got to me in Bloemfontein there was not even a service book in the car. I took the car to Nissan and they told me that the car is not up to date with the services!!! The car was serviced 2 years ago I reached out to Hanre and told him this. It took him 19 days to get back to me , just to tell me the manager will call me. 2 weeks went by , no manager called me , I wrote an email , it took them 3 weeks to get back to me and they just threw their hands up in the air. Funny thing is , I spoke to about 5 different people in the company just to get to the manager (Jason Joubert , which until today I could not get hold of him on the phone) and the one person that I spoke to said "he does not know what is going on around him" 2 people in the company also sent emails to the managers and owner where they put me in the mail to say I need feedback , but still no feedback. I don't want the owner to send me a soppy sorry message on this platform , keep your message , you guys had from the 22nd of December until today (10 March) to fix your lies but you did not. Spare yourself a lot of trouble people and find another place to buy a car. Worst service of my life , cant get a hold of no one and they lie through their teeth Fix your lies and lets move on , no hard feelings , but you choose to just ignore emails , whatsapps and phone calls Sorry but if you are thinking about buying a car at this place you will have guaranteed sleepless nights

Awful service! I ordered a car and was awaiting finance on 50 % of the vehicle. Went to pick it up and when I was given the key I realised that it wasn’t the car I test drove and wanted to buy. Salesman gave me a pack of lies. Spent 4 hours there trying to sort out there mess, I found another vehicle eventually that cost me a lot more but that’s fine. Now over 6 weeks has passed and they won’t release my tax disc spare key and service booklet. I have had to chase everything! Buyer aware!! Not an easy company to deal with at all. Think twice guys!

I had a terrible experience. The salesperson was rude and impatient, and on the day of signing he told me the car had run-flat tires — which turned out to be untrue. By the next morning, the car was already due for a service, even though the service history stated it had been serviced just six months earlier. The following month, the car was due for a major service. The entire experience was disappointing and unacceptable.

If I could give this dealership less than 1 star - I would. This was my first car purchase for myself and this dealership, specifically the manager, ****** me of the excitement this type of step usually brings. I am so utterly disheartened and upset that they would do this to a person after finance was approved, their tax invoice was sent to my bank and a contract was being finalized. We even drove 800km (400km there and then 400km back) to the dealership to test this car, decided to buy it and kept the dealership in the loop as to progress every step of the way (the even had direct communication with the bank). Without so much as a telephone call they sold the vehicle to a cash buyer (after invoicing me) whereafter all I got was a ”sorry it's been sold”. The sales manager and general manager weren’t even kind enough to field calls for an explanation. I would not waste time with people who lack integrity and clearly don't care about their customers. Their website says they adhere to ”good ethical conduct’ … not my experience at all.

If I could give a rating of -5 stars, I would. I agreed to trade in my vehicle with Mad Cars, pending inspection. I drove 150km for the inspection and test drive, and everything checked out—except for a cracked windscreen, which I was asked to fix. I did so promptly. They then delivered the new vehicle to my home and drove away my old one. That’s when the problems began. The following evening, I received a call from the manager claiming my old vehicle had broken down upon arrival and had multiple issues. I explained that the car had been recently serviced with no reported problems, and there were no warning signs when they collected it. Despite this, I was told I had two options: either cancel the entire deal and return their vehicle, or keep the new one and take back my old car to fix it myself. I expressed that this was unfair—the vehicle broke down in their possession, not mine. After a week of silence and multiple follow-ups, I reluctantly agreed to take back my old car just to resolve the matter, as I couldn’t afford to fight it legally or pay two monthly installments. It took three weeks—and many pleas—to get my old vehicle returned. Meanwhile, the bank deducted the installment for the new car. To make matters worse, the new vehicle had worn shocks, bald tires, and a faulty center bearing—all of which I reported within a week of delivery. My emails and messages have been ignored, and it seems I’ll have to fix these issues myself to avoid further damage. If Mad Cars is reading this, the issue is far from resolved. You have my contact details at your Randburg branch. I’m still open to resolving this amicably.
